It is much, and I mean, MUCH easier to go ahead and buy a pacck of these for when you are hosting a meal and people are going to want to take home leftovers. Not only is it nice to give guests a way to carry out leftovers without absconding with your tubberware, but it helps with portion sizes so your aunt and uncle don't slink off with half the turkey. I mean, they might do that anyway, but unless they're stuffing it in her purse, they're gonna have a stack of these things in hand when they do. Not that I have any personal experiences with this kind of thing.. Anyway! It's convenient, they close securely, they stack with each other, and they're just good to have. You could even use them for school lunches, or work, and sure, you COULD wash them, but let's be real. You're mostly gonna use them for the holidays and never see them again.

Great quality, but check the dimensions before buying!

These are really nice and sturdy containers! The plastic is nice and thick, the lids snap on securely, and the compartments are great for keeping food separated. My only issue is that they are pretty large and hard to fit inside my kid's lunch box. I definitely wish I had read the description and dimensions a little more carefully before ordering. They are still fantastic quality and great for adult meal prep or fridge storage, just keep the size in mind!
