I bought two, since I made custom tile work around the dimensions of this model, bought the 2nd one just as a back up. Very modern looking, there is some noise when the fire is on, which is only drawback, but since we usually only uses the back light on not the fire, so I can bear with that.

This is a really nice fireplace! I love the combination of the crystals and logs, and the silver surround gives it a sleek, modern look. I love this fireplace for our space. I live in FL so I don't really use the heating feature but we did turn it on to test it and it does heat up fast. For the money, I feel like this was a great purchase. I'm sure some of the more expensive products out there have more realistic looking flames but I still love the ambiance this adds. You can also play around with the speed of the flames which helps in making the fire look more realistic. Also, the timer feature comes in great for me as I often leave the room with intention of coming back and then get distracted thus leaving the lights on for hours. One note: We did paint the trim ring on ours to better match our space. We didn't really do any kind of paint prep because the trim ring is alum and we didn't want to scratch it. ... show more
