This is a great option if you need a tough hose that will stand up to abuse. It's kink free, crush resistant and very easy to coil up when not in use. The fittings are well machined and easy to thread onto or off.

    • Strong, Small, Flexible, Sturdy
I love these short, extremely flexible garden hoses! Think of a square with a somewhat smaller circle in the middle. The circle is a fish pool with a fountain in the center. There is a circular grey, limestone gravel path with four wrought iron benches and some small tables next to the benches around the pool and the four corners are flower garden beds...with 50 ft long, green, white and black garden hoses stretched out everywhere. Sort of ruins the view. But now, with these SHORT hoses, each bed's hose can be contained within the flower area and it looks MUCH nicer! In addition, the stainless hoses are extremely flexible and can be rolled into a quite small circle next to the faucet when no sprinkler is in use. Best of all, even when filled with water these hoses are very lightweight and some I've had outside over the winter have not frozen while the hand sprinkler head attached to them have split. ... show more

This hose reminds me of a Pre-rinse hose you see on commercial dishwashers or in commercial sinks. It’s a nice hose and I hope it holds up. The 12’ length was all I needed so it worked out great. I have an automatic water bowl for my dog and this hose goes from the hose faucet to the water bowl. I wanted it to look good because it’s in my screened in porch. It does look neat laying there, a conversation starter for sure, not something you see every day. It seems to be well made and I will know how it holds up to pressure before long, I hope it does well, if not… I’ll be back… to update the sad news. It should hold up though, the ends are a nice brass and there are bend guards on each end, so I know they used quality parts and thought things through. I suspect that making a 25’ or longer would be rather heavy and hard to deal with, this hose doesn’t roll up like your average garden hose, it slithers around when trying to roll it up. It does come with several hose washers, nice to have them, I just used a twist tie and connected them to the female end of the hose, otherwise I would never find them again. I’m not sure if this hose has a specific roll in the world, but it really does look better than some run of the mill garden hose and is quite different. I’m all in on it. ... show more

    • Seems like good quality, metal covered hose!!!
Ordered this metal hose for a different reason than most. We are installing several small sinks around our outdoor structures for "hand washing stations", and had this hose in mind for a purpose. If you've never used a metal hose before, the water actually heats up inside due to the metal heating up, thus creating warm water. We purchased this hose for just that, to attach to the faucet and sink units we are installing, to create warm water at each station, without having to install a insta hot tank, just for washing hands. Because we have done this before, I know what is a good quality metal hose to work for our purpose. This hose has a heavy duty stainless wrap around it so it will work just fine. Very excited to hook it up to one of our new sink projects! I would highly recommend this hose because of the quality! Also, if your a car washer at home, these metal hoses work great for that purpose also, again due to them heating up the water naturally. With this length, you will need to buy a few, but the price is right! Let the hose sit out in the driveway for an hour or so, with the water inside, to warm up before washing your car.     • Unexpected Case use for dog who chews through hoses
I have a rain water collection barrel that use to water my chickens. we recently got a new livestock dog and he apparently likes to chew through hoses. He has ruined multiple hoses so i bought these as a deterrent for him. So far so good. he has not attempted to chew on these and they work fine. I do not coil them up and store them. They stay fairly permanently on the rain water barrel and the chicken water dispenser. I will keep an eye for rust and update if i see any but so far that hasnt been an issue. ... show more
