I bought this step ladder for use around the house. I use it for odd jobs like changing lightbulbs, reaching appliances above my cupboards, etc. It has a smaller footprint than most 3-step ladders so I find it more practical. It also folds flatter and doesn’t take up as much space to store. I keep this in my kitchen and store it in the cubby with my trash and recycling bins. That way I have it available where I use it most. I weigh 175lbs and I feel like it holds my weight well. It feels like a sturdy ladder. The steps have good traction and the feet are also rubberized to prevent it from sliding around on the floor. The champagne gold finish is just a bonus, making the ladder a stylish room accent whenever I leave it out.

This ladder is fitting for any household with its compact design. The ladder is easy to open and it has anti-slip rubber ends which increase the stability. So far I have had no trouble reaching the ceilings and access to smoke detectors, high closets, ceiling fans and so on. I think this would make great gift to first time homeowners.

When folded, it's only about 4 inches thick, allowing me to tuck it away neatly in a corner of my kitchen without taking up valuable space. Yup! It's a ladder! And a folding ladder at that! If you've been looking to pick up a ladder, either for a project, or just because it's a good idea to keep a ladder around for when you may need it, this is a great choice. It's sturdy, yet compact when folded, and is great for the occasional DIY project, and your step stool just isn't getting the job done. It folds up nicely, and can be stored in a pretty compact space, just a bit over 2" wide when folded. (we put it next to the fridge in our apartment, and yes, it was a bit of a tight squeeze, but most homes should have plenty of room between the fridge and the wall to store it), or you can tuck it against a wall in your closet or slide it easily under a bed or even a sofa. It seems pretty sturdy. I weigh a bit over 200lbs, and I kinda bounced up and down on it a bit, and it didn't have any problems holding me, and I felt pretty secure, even on the higher steps. Now, I wouldn't recommend this ladder for a contractor or someone in construction that may need to use it daily, or a lot, as even tho it's well built and sturdy, it's still a bit on the decorative side, and I'm not sure how it would hold up to prolonged, hard use. But, who knows? It may! I like this ladder quite a bit, but had to give it only 4 stars because I felt the pricing was a bit high. And yes, I did do some price comparisons, and it's price is in the range of others, I still think it's a bit much. (like, when did ladders become such a high ticket, designer item?? did I miss something? The price of ladders these days is crazy, like kookoo beans crazy!) Anyhow, four stars! If you purchase this ladder, you won't be disappointed!
