I do a lot of shooting in nightclubs and concerts, where it’s relatively easy to misplace a lens cap. Not with these! Of course you wind up with a dangling lens cap, but that’s never got in my way. The holder sticks to the cap with what’s essentially a piece of double-sided tape. It’s pretty strong, but I have had one or two fall off over a period of years. A drop of superglue or something such before applying the sticker to the cap couldn’t hurt. And they’re a great value! ... show more

I've used these for a couple of years now, finally using them all. They work well and mostly hold up. I wish the adhesion did better, but I do test their limits all the time and haven't lost a lens cap yet.

These hang on and last a while. This is my second batch of five in five years... I think we lost some of the last batch. I do not remember changing them out that often.

I needed to replace my lens cap keeper after the garter piece broke off. I found these similar ones on Amazon for a great deal. I probably don’t need all of them but it’s nice to keep these in my camera bag in case one breaks off.

    • It’s fair….
Installing these are not hard at all. Removing and the adhesive is the problem. The plastic comes off of the spongy adhesive pad. I DO NOT keep my camera in super hot or cold temps to wear down on the adhesion of these.
