  • Solid performance so far.
Overall fit and finish is good. While some have dinged their review score based on the fact that there are only 3 charge indicating LEDs, I find that a moot point since you can monitor the battery condition through the phone app without taking the battery out. I have not checked to see if it will accept a charge from a solar panel while in the camera but the ad copy says it does an it appears others have verified that. If that is the case then it performs exactly as the name brand lithium battery at a very competitive price. Now for my test results: I charged battery to 100% with the USB-C cord and checked the voltage with a multimeter which indicated 8.3V. Installed the battery and set the camera, model XB, to take 2 24 Mp pictures per event and a 10 second video at 720P. I ran it over the course of 6 days in a stable, warm, dry environment with a fair amount of traffic. There were 337 trigger events that produced 674 photos and 337 10 second videos recordings on the SD card. Thus there were 337 single picture uploads to the cellular server with as many notifications to my phone. At that point the app indicated that the battery was down to 40% and I ended the test with that. The multimeter indicated that the battery was at 7.42V I would expect somewhat reduced performance at low temperatures and my short test did not account for internal resistance battery drain and camera power consumption over time. So one should expect that a like number of trigger events taken over a long time in the field with more variable, possibly hostile, temperature conditions to take a greater toll on the battery. All in all, given the price point and assuming that it does indeed charge via a solar panel while in the camera, I am quite satisfied with the performance thus far. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's application is relatively fair weather. Time will tell if it remains a solid performer in less hospitable conditions over a longer time period. ... show more

  • Time and money saver!
The lithium battery pack for my Tactacam Reveal X 3.0 has been a great addition to my trail camera setup. I’ve had it out for two days in an area with really bad cell service, and it’s still holding strong at 100%—impressive performance for such challenging conditions! The battery feels well-built and fits perfectly in the camera, providing reliable power without any issues so far. It’s a huge improvement over constantly swapping out AA batteries, saving both time and money. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the three-bar battery indicator, which is less precise than I’d like compared to a four-bar gauge. It makes it a bit harder to accurately monitor the battery level. Overall, a solid and dependable battery pack that I’d recommend to other Tactacam users, especially for remote setups! ... show more

  • Stop changing AA Batteries
Its time to stop changing AA batteries. These batteries for your Reveal series trail cameras are the ticket. They last much longer than AA batteries and cost much less over the season. I have several of these cameras and a dozen or so of these batteries. I have some cameras that take 500-600 pictures a day and they last about two weeks. They recharge using the supplied usb cable or fit into the 4-bay charger. ... show more

  • Beats buying batteries
The battery works well with my Tactacam Reveal and holds a solid charge. It’s definitely more convenient than swapping regular batteries all the time. I like having the battery indicator so I can check if it is close to needing to be replaced. The only drawback is that it takes a little longer to recharge than expected, but overall it’s reliable and does the job. ... show more

  • Great battery for Reveal wildlife cam
Update: battery life does not last as long as the Reveal lithium battery. I had it charged fully to 100%, put it n my cam and I always make sure to place the cam in areas where it will not get a lot of unnecessary triggers and the battery was down to 60% in two days, whereas my reveal battery has been running now for almost a week and it is at 70% picked up this lithium battery as a backup for my Reveal wildlife cam. It isn’t the name-brand version, but it works just fine. It’s really convenient to have a spare on hand so I don’t have to stop and recharge in the middle of using my cam. When it arrived, I wasn’t sure if it was fully charged. I plugged it in before first use, and I recommend others do the same, when I put it into my cam, it showed about 80%. So definitely give it a full charge before heading out. ... show more

  • Reveal Battery
I upgraded to this battery pack for my Reveal trail camera, and it’s been a fantastic addition. The installation was straightforward, and the pack fits perfectly with all the compatible Reveal models that I own. What I really appreciate is the extended battery life. It noticeably reduces the frequency of manual recharges, which is a huge convenience when monitoring remote areas. The solar panel efficiently charges even on partly cloudy days, which keeps the camera powered longer during critical monitoring periods. The LED battery indicator is a thoughtful feature, giving a clear, quick status update so I don’t have to guess when it needs a recharge. Plus, the overall build feels solid and weatherproof, so I’m confident it will hold up well outdoors. For anyone serious about wildlife observation or security, this solar battery pack is a smart investment that delivers reliable, hassle-free power for your Reveal trail camera. It's a great value for the money. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Power Packed
This is a good value battery pack to improve your trail camera life. It has added features that the oem batteries do not such as the on pack power level and check button function. This battery took awhile to initially charge so I suspect the started capacity is correct. The pack fit in the camera perfectly. The plastic housing seems just as durable as the originals. ... show more
