Luckily came with one replacement "crystal" as one was broken upon receiving but otherwise really great item. Value for pricing not totally convinced though. I haven't written a review in over a year. I don't like being censored, but hopefully this gets posted. Every time I look at this chandelier I smile. It is adorable, and I'm very happy with this purchase! It arrived in great condition due to being well packaged. It was extremely easy to put together. It's small, but big enough for a space that's drab and needs some color. I'm planning to put it in my new chicken coop to give my hens some glitz, and glamour.

I wrote two reviews - First order: I got it in the mail today. I was so excited! I opened the box and the packaging and chandelier were dirty. Not dust, dirt. I took it all out to wipe down and noticed a bunch of missing crystals and one broken one. I’ve issued a return. When I get my second one, I will change my review accordingly. I really hope the second one is in good shape. It’s super cute. 🖤 Second order: I love it! It arrived quickly. It came in a nice box, unlike the first order. It wasn’t broken or dirty. It was easy to hang up on the ceiling. I’m so happy I didn’t just ask for a refund. It totally completes my living room!

This was the best part of my apartment bedroom for the first 1.5 years since I first bought it. Then about 6 months ago, the insulation on the power cord looked cracked - I was going to just wrap with electrical tape, but the day after I bought the tape, the cord suddenly started sparking, then a loud POP and the cord completely separated from the plug, which was still plugged into the wall partially melted! I am so thankful we were home when it happened! My husband quickly grabbed a rubber oven Mitt and bravely pulled it from the wal before it started a fire or melted completely into the outlet...we rent, and that would have been massively expensive! Since then I've been looking for a way to repair it. My dad gave me a replacement plug, and I thought that was the answer but no matter how carefully I matched the hot and neutral wires, making sure not to let them touch each other, the moment I plugged it in there were loud sparks again. After nearly electrocuting myself and my room, I gave up. But it's still hanging up, because I LOVED THIS CHANDELIER DARNIT! My apartment bedroom has no overhead lighting however, so I am stuck for now using my dinky little $10 walmart upright lamp from my college days 8 years ago - go figure that's the lamp that lasts the longest, and through 4 moves too! I still have the gypsy chandelier hanging up, attached to nothing, hoping I will come across a way to fix it one day :( the price seemed really reasonable on initial purchase, but if it's not going to last more than a year and half I can't justify buying a replacement. There's not even enough cord left past the on/off switch to try another replacement plug (which I sadly discovered AFTER buying one on Amazon for 8 bucks! Should have gone to home depot instead). Now everytime I look at it I just feel depressed :/ It was such a cool chandelier while it worked. I wish there was a way to just replace the whole cord. I considered the conversion kit they sell, but I'm not sure that would even work, and I just can't afford to keep throwing away money and risking burning down my apartment or getting electrocuted trying to fix it. What really sucks is that when I bought it I rationalized spending over my budget by assuming if the $10 lamp lasts this long, surely the chandelier would last over a decade! Sadly that was a 100% incorrect assumption :( So, now what?

This little chandelier is gorgeous in my newly re-decorated living room and I love it. However, there are a few things you should know. 1. The “crystals” are plastic, not glass. (I assumed that, based on the price. But if you want a truly expensive looking chandelier, this may not suit you.) 2. The chain that comes with it is the same color as the lamp. However, the electric cord is not; it’s silver, and very, very obvious once it’s hung. I originally hated the way it looked and was considering returning it based on that. However, I found a chandelier cord cover in fuschia right here on Amazon and that was the perfect fix. 3. The electric cords are not marked which is positive and negative. They have a little piece of cardboard on the end that shows which is positive and negative, but you have to take that off to install it, so it disappears off the cord itself. I wrote on a piece of masking tape and marked each one myself before I removed the cardboard. 4. You have to separate the electric cords more than they already are in order to install it. (Or I had to, anyway.). If you’ve done any lighting installation before, this will be easy. If this is your first time, you might struggle a little, since it took a little more “fixing” before installation than normal. But if you’re an experienced handyman / woman, you won’t have any problems. I installed it entirely by myself; didn’t even need another set of hands. 5. It is a fairly small chandelier. If I could have found a bigger one in the same color, I would have gotten a bigger one. If your room is bigger than mine, this will probably feel too small. (However, it gives off a good amount of light. No complaints on that.) Overall, I’m very happy with it.
