I am very impressed with this mattress. I got it for my 3 year old thinking the 5 inch would be fine for him until he got bigger, and then we would upgrade. But actually, this mattress is very firm! I didn't sink to the bottom when I sat on it, and it was very comfortable when I layed on it. My husband is 220lbs and he slept on it quite well. I'm not sure how comfortable it would be for an adult to sleep on every night, but certainly comfortable for kids or guests who are staying a few days. I love that it comes with a washable cover, and my toddler sleeps great on it. It is a true Twin size and fit on the bedframe perfectly.

I want to start off by saying I wish I could have given this a higher rating. Unfortunately due to the false advertising I cannot rate this any higher. Let's start with the pros, the mattress was very well packaged with extremely thick plastic to keep the mattress dry should the outer carton get wet. Our order of 3 mattresses each included a small letter opener to help with the plastic. There was virtually no "foam" odor when we set these up so that was a plus. And lastly the mattress sock was very soft and the mattress measures exactly to twin size which is what we ordered. This is where the positives end. We ordered the 5" thickness mattress, ours barely made it to 4" it's more realistically 3.5" they also did not inflate evenly with one of my son's barely making it to 3" while the other's made it to almost 4.5" on the edges. Do not count on these to get to full advertised thickness so if you use with a bed frame you will not be comfortable and most likely feel the bars or slats through the mattress. That being said, we use ours on the floor and as someone who is a trucker and used to slim beds this feels just like what I'm used to. It's enough foam to keep you off the floor but cloud like comfort is a definite long shot. At the end of the day, we'll be keeping them because my sons prefer these over sleeping in sleeping bags and as a trucker myself it's what I'm used to already - it's soft enough to allow comfortable sleep but if you want cloud like softness, shop for something much thicker. For what it's worth, and what the goal was, these achieve that; get dad and his sons off the hard floor. If I'm ever in the market for an upgrade, I'll definitely be shopping for a traditional pillow top mattress most likely in the future. I do not recommend these mattresses to anyone solely based on the fact that these mattresses never reached their full size and that was with them sitting out for a week. Even though we use ours on the floor, those that use yours on a slatted bed frame will not be happy. Won't be returning these because we absolutely need them over nothing but I will be filling a complaint to Amazon for false advertising on final thickness of these mattresses. Thank you for reading my review, wish I could have loved these more but that's simply not the case.

The thickness on this twin size mattress is only five inches. Now it's meant more for kids than adults and a small eight year old is who is laying on this mattress. It's a medium plush memory foam that sinks in pretty deep when you lay on it. It would honestly be a nice topper for an adult. For my eight year old it's somewhat too thin as well, or maybe the issue is the lack of firmness. The mattress sinks in too much even for her. She can still feel the bars of her bunk bed through it. I placed a firm 3 inch topper underneath this mattress and she's sleeping comfortably now. This mattress needs to be a bit thicker or a bit firmer in order for it to be more feasible for everyday use. It could be a great option for overnight guests maybe.

This was a fantastic mattress for our child. It feels very comfortable, and my child has started sleeping so much better since we got this mattress. It's only 5 inches, but it's still pretty comfortable despite how thin it is. For under $100 you can't go wrong getting this for your child.

Got this for my Grand Daughter as the cat decided to birth her kittens on the mattress, which stained it. My Grand Daughter won't sleep on it, so I got her a new mattress. She likes this one better as it's Memory Foam instead of a spring mattress.
