For a cheap head unit it’s really not too bad. At the same time I will say it is a bit buggy. Software is not perfect and I’ve had plenty of times. I’ve had to force it to shut off to make CarPlay work appropriately. If you have had a vehicle that has CarPlay tied into the factory head unit, don’t expect it to play the same way. A few little differences but nothing too terrible. My biggest gripe really as the software issues. Also, don’t expect the Bluetooth to work phenomenally. You can make calls pretty well, but making sure the person can hear you on the other side, unless you have the additional microphone addition, which this does not come with, they’re not gonna hear you’re too well. Sizing is something else you need to take into factor. I have this in a 2001 Jeep Cherokee and it’s literally jammed into the space the factory radio took up. The single din piece that they should fit around I could not secure to the car in order to make this actually set appropriately with the dash.. take this in mind with your install. This could’ve been designed a bit better where the screen truly sat center. Is it fine for a cheap head unit? Sure. I am considering sending it back if I continue to have issues this week though

I have a 1994 Ford E-350, and needed to replace an old single DIN radio/cassette player. The radio is low on the dashboard, behind the gear shift lever. I wanted a good radio, bluetooth, a nice display, and easy to use controls. This fits the bill. This radio is one inch taller than the single DIN, allowing a larger display, and not hitting the A/C controls just above it. It looks like 2 knobs, but the left is a volume knob, and the right knob is really a three position (left, center, right) rocker switch. So when I am driving I can easily find the volume knob, and use the rocker to seek stations. Trying to drive, and hit the touch screen, is hard due to the location. The firmware looks updateable, but no idea where to look for updates. Also no place to get a PDF manual. The manual says it has a 15 amp fuse, but it came with a 10 amp one. Installation was straightforward. One potential issue, the front and rear speakers on each side shared the same negative wire, but this radio had 4 negative wires, one for each speaker. Connecting the negatives together worked fine. The remote is handy when parked, but must be pointed directly at the sensor, and is a bit finicky. I had not looked for Android Auto, but gave it a try. Of my 3 android devices, all Android 12, only one one worked with the radio. One said "incompatible versions", the other would start to connect, then disconnect, and repeat endlessly. I had thought I could control the radio with Android Auto, but the radio controls the phone. No point to that as the display is low and behind the gear shift lever. Worse, my phone needs a PD charger, and when connected to the radio there is NO charging. The radio's USB ports do not do PD, or any fast charge. So they will slowly charge my other devices, when I already have a fast charger that also does PD. Audio through the BT is fine, and I'll use that to play music when parked. Like most car radios, it needs continuous battery power to retain settings, which is problematic in an RV. But the defaults seem to work fine for me. All in all, a nice single DIN radio, especiailly for the price. I took a star off due to the poor Android Auto performance and the obsolete USB charging mode.

The media could not be loaded. I installed this on my fathers 1995 Tacoma, he just wanted something with Carplay so he could stream music and every name brand head unit was $200+. Install was straight forward, used a wiring harness for the model pickup and diagrams were clear and accurate. Only issue i'm running into is I can't get the backup camera to switch automatically, he has to select the option on the settings. This is an incredible value for what you get, the screen is fast and controls are responsive, the physical dials are a huge plus. He's only used it for a couple days but seems to be working fine, no random restarts or overheating. I'll update if we run into any issues, but for $60 this was a steal.

Finding the perfect sized updated radio to fit any VW beetle is impossible, if you want that screen look without covering your air vents, this is the the best way to go IMO, thank you!

Ordered this single din 5 inch apple car play radio to install in my dodge Durango that can’t accept a double din. The radio fit perfectly and was easy to install. The provided instructions where clear and easy to read. The radio works absolutely perfectly and the touch screen works perfectly. I highly recommend the single din 5 inch radio if you cannot get a double din.

my car didnt have the wiring for the backup camera so i wasnt able to use this feature and had to omit it. took some modification of my dash to get this to fit. very slight. luckily my uncle has so many tools including industrial type so we were able to make it fit perfectly. however, this stereo is a piece of crap. it constantly shuts off while driving or it will go into a stutter mode constantly repeating the kick drum or snare or whatever sound it happens to be on at the time of this happening and then the stereo is unresponsive and you have to listen to it til it stops at high volume and all possibly blowing out your speakers with no way to the volume. when it just shuts off, it wont come on again for a while, sometimes not til a day or 2 later. all and all, this is a cheap stereo and with good reason. i do like the android auto able to use my gps and navigate but i can do that with a better stereo. i hate that this one does not remember my settings for google maps night mode. it does. the settings will stay the same but it will go back to light mode every time. my phone is in night mode too so theres no reason why this should keep happening. just gonna find something of quality because this is simply not. its just pure garbage. it was cheap but still, it was 90 dollars wasted. almost a bill which could of went to something better like gas or food or towards the payment of a better stereo.
