Great alternative to large traditional box spring. The metal is more durable than wood or spring made box. Ability to relocate more manageable than assembled variety. Easy to assemble, varying heights for need, and reasonably priced. I rated a 4 only because the box spring moves around easily on our bedframe. I would recommend using something to secure it to the frame otherwise constant repositioning will be required. This was not the case when using a traditional box spring

This frame works ok for what it is. The reason I gave it a 1 star rating is that it only had 3 corner brackets and they said they can't send another one. I already had it mostly assembled when I found this out and it's a huge pain to try to pack it back up to return it so I put a piece of wood in as a replacement. Also the cover is from a zking not a CA king and it doesn't fit. Other than that I would have given it a better rating. Also accurate measurements on the description would be nice as it is about 1/2inch bigger than out bed frame so I had to shorten it.

Whoever thought of this- I hope they are now rich. This item is great! It came in one box - a nice manageable size. It was easy to put together and feels like it will last my lifetime! Exactly what I needed! I will never buy a "standard" boxspring ever again. This is metal and comes with a cover to keep the while thing looking nice under the mattress.

First, this item is very sturdy. I have no doubt it would last for years. The less than good: It creaks. The frame comes with a cover, but this doesn't muffle the creaks. Carefully consider how your bed is made before purchasing this type of frame. If your platform is flat, the frame can slide. The only way I found to fix this is to remove the cover and loop ties through the frame and anchor them to my bed. It works, but isn't ideal for me.
