We actually used these to support a heavy, flip-up bar window we custom built for a shed, and they work amazing. Because it’s a heavy piece of wood swinging upward, we needed something that wouldn't sag or twist, and these handled the weight no problem. The hinges are thick, heavy steel and the matte black finish looks great. I really liked that the screw holes are countersunk so the heads sit completely flush, and the offset hole layout keeps the wood from splitting when you mount them. You get a bunch of them in a pack with all the hardware included, so the price is honestly tough to beat. If you are doing a custom build or just need something beefier than standard hardware store hinges, these are a solid buy.

The hinges are perfectly suited for outdoor projects. . heavy duty and quite well-made. The only thing I would adjust would be the screws that come with the hinges they’re very tiny and not suitable. One trip to the hardware store to purchase leg bolts took care of that.
