Bought this for a 5 year old because it has in the Amazon page good for a wide age range. When the package arrived it was recommended for age 14+ Went back to the Amazon page - blatant lies on the page. They photoshop the recommended age off the box. They say it’s recommended for 8+, 8-12 or as low as 3 years old on different parts of the page. Thumbs down. ... show more

Kiddos built this in 45 mins and then when we went out to practice flying it, the wind took it away and the battery was lost. Can't find the exact replacement part anywhere. So moral to the story, don't let your kiddo fly it too high or you're out $60 with a bunch of extra model pieces that don't work since you can't purchase a replacement battery anywhere. ... show more

Really nice kit. Better than a regular drone because you build it yourself. There are five variations you can make then take apart and do over. Comes in a nice case. Overall good quality and value.

I liked the product but we kept losing one particular propeller. My kids May have thrown out any extra propellers if they were included, but how could you get replacements?

Rotor blades don't fit tight and become loose in flight resulting in crashing. Drone is very difficult to fly, it doesn't respond to remote control commands in an accurate way. The idea of self assembly in different configuration is great for the kids but if the unit doesn't fly it's totally useless. ... show more
