How to handle smoke, burning odor or overheating while using? Faint odor is normal for new units. Unplug and check air filter if smell lingers. I was in need of a new Hairdryer and had been wanting to try an air wrap kind. It did take a little longer to dry my hair with this but not by much. My hair was smooth and not frizzy with this. I purchased this in March and I can no longer use it. The brush attachment flys off when trying to use it because its so loose and the bristles are all crazy like they are melting or something. I tried drying my hair this morning and now that attachment won't stay on. Also it gets very HOT! I can't go from drying my hair to curling it because it won't turn back on for 10+ minutes from being so hot so I had to start leaving it on to change the attachments. Got this mainly for the hairdryer and heat curling attachments. It may just be my hair, but none of the attachments truly work. There is not a cold setting to set your curls after heating so my curls fall instantly. And that is not an understatement. it comes with a "straightening" brush and round brush attachment which are practically useless since the hair just blows right off and causes frizz. This is with and without using hair product. Trying to dry my hair, even in sections, takes forever. For the few seconds the curls do hold, they are quite beautiful. ... show more

I bought this months ago after watching so many women on TikTok but didn’t want to spend a ton of money. The first few uses I was extremely frustrated but also very impatient and used to using a blow dryer, round brush and then my curling iron and wasn’t getting the results I was looking for or figured out how to use it properly. Don’t give up on it though! I love this! It’s very lightweight and easy to use once you get the hang of it! This is the only tool I use now! My hair looks healthy instead of fried! The volume it gives me is awesome! The size is perfect for me! I was so used to the curling iron and beachy waves that I didn’t really like the look of the curls I was getting with the attachments but I had to keep playing around with it and now I haven’t used my curling iron in months and even threw out my blow dryer! I was super excited for this product, but I am not sure that it works that great. The curl attachments don't grab on to the hair so that it is able to curl. The round brush attachment worked okay. It is very loud. I think the heat on it is okay, it just doesn't grab on to the hair really good. I even tried with damp hair. I got the basic black color, it's pretty. It's a decent size. It's not super powerful and the brush fibers on the round brush come off pretty easy so I am not sure about durability in the long run. ... show more
