I am using this device for a child's water table to pump water to the top and flow back down. It is very easy to use and charge. Push of a button and water is flowing. The pump works great but it only runs for a short time before turning off. I assume to prevent spills and such. I tried the first time on 5 gal. Water the one you get at the supermarket. I took the top off and wasn’t a way to tighten it and water spilled all over. Then I took the top off the gallon and made a hole in the middle to insert hose. Put the top back on the gallon and then inserted the hose and when I pushed down it sealed perfectly.     • Cheap build quality, can't recharge the battery after 4 months. Choose a different model.

I've had this several months. One charge lasts about a month of regular use for us, or 2-3 weeks of heavy use. But after four months or so, plugging in a micro-USB to recharge the battery does not light up the charging indicator anymore. I can't recharge the battery and it's useless now. Which is a shame because these electric pumps are great for skipping on the cost of an entire space-consuming water cooler set-up. But they're also a dime a dozen.
