Just installed it today! I’m a stay at home mom and was able to get it put up pretty quickly while my little was taking a nap! So far love it! Live the swivel since my spigot is on the side of my house!! No more dragging a hose from the front to the back!!

Won't let me give a one star. Won't window up. Rolls in one spot till hose gets caught. Complete waste of money. Needs to be returned. Hopefully a different brand will work better

It is difficult to rate a product that I have only used three times, but I want to share the problems I had today with mounting the bracket to the wall--the part that you screw into the mounting surface. In my case, the mounting surface was my dry walled garage wall. Because I assumed the anchors and screws that came with the product would work with drywall, I installed the bracket with them only to have them immediately pull out of the wall when I loaded the hose container on it due to its considerable weight. Then I read the instructions that say the supplied anchors/wall plugs are for cement walls ("plaster up to 1centimeter"). The instructions proceed to state: ""For other wall types, special wall plugs (anchors) must be used." Nothing is said about the specific types of plugs that may be needed. Instruction 5 states, "Put the guide rod into the reel with screw." Nowhere is the actual guide rod depicted or further described. Another problem concerns the "safety tray," which again is not depicted or further described. I have no idea what it is, but it is supposed to be slid onto the wall bracket before installing the hose container on that bracket. Lastly, no mention in the mounting instructions is made of the need for the bracket to be absolutely vertical and that a level is needed to determine whether it is at true vertical before tightening the 4 screws that hold it upright. If the bracket is not absolutely vertical, the rewind mechanism may not retract the hose properly and it will jam. Again, no mention is made of this point anywhere in the instructions. I finally adequately installed the mounting bracket by using two screws into a wall stud and molly bolts for the two remaining mounting holes. For quality of instructions, this product earned a "1" from me. So far it has performed well and if this continues, I would rate the product (excluding its instructions) as a "5." I here compromise with a "3." After a month or two of use, I will post an update. Lastly, I noticed that many reviews from the USA were provided by folks who received their hoses for free. (I had to pay for mine. Hope the freebee didn't bias their ratings!)

This hose reel works well so far and I like the larger diameter of hose as compared to many of the 1/2 inch ones we've had. The ones we have had in the past were also about double the price. The only reason for the four stars, rather than five, is that the hose reel retracts very quickly. You have to watch it carefully when retracting, so that you aren't hurt in the process. Once the sprayer came back and hit my bare foot, which was pretty painful! Since, I have been careful to hold the hose tighter while retracting.

So far so good!! This unit seems high-quality and works perfect so far. Saves a lot of time versus winding up the hose on a hook in my shop. Thai motel as this gets used a lot. I didn’t use the small set screws as I wanted my realtor swivel.

I got to the screen to flash my tire size change and the unit gave me an error message to call tech support. The had me plug my unit into a PC and upload the info. Within 2 days they had a patch (update) for me. Now my Speedo reads the correct speed. I did. Have to choose 33.25 for my 35 inch tires to get it to read correctly.
