This is exactly what I was looking for, a small, discreet, metal safe that can be bolted to the wall. The directions on how to open/set password/lock are hard to understand but the YouTube videos explain everything well. Recommend for anyone needing a safe these days, which is probably everyone!

My Mom has Alzheimer’s, but has been able to break into other fire boxes. This one is secure enough to keep her out of it. It locks with 3 bars, not two, like cheaper models. It’s got lots of room. I keep her meds, her syringes, as well as her med organizers in there and still have room. It’s got different ways to unlock it and an emergency key, just in case the batteries die and you can’t get in. Was really easy to set up.

This safe is sturdy, well-made and just the right size. I needed a safe that was large enough to hold several items of differing size and small enough to fit in an inconspicuous space in my home. I had purchased a lower priced safe from Amazon prior to this one and ended up returning it the next day because it was junk. I was skeptical when I purchased this one but was pleasantly surprised when I pulled it from the box. I guess the saying "You get what you pay for still holds true."

I rarely review my Amazon purchases but this product needs to be reviewed. Pay attention to the negative reviews. I think if/when this product is working it is likely 5 stars. But if/when it doesn’t, you’re very quickly in a 1 star bind. Product worked just fine for 2 months with somewhat regular (weekly) use. I had a few valuables, extra cash, watches and documents in the safe. Leaving for an international trip, I went to the safe to retrieve my passport, entered my combination as normal, the keypad went black and stopped beeping after pressing the first two numbers of my 4 digit code. I thought.. this is weird. So I waited a few seconds, and started over; no response or sounds from the keypad at all this time when pressed. Waited a few more minutes, came back and tried again. This time the keypad worked, made the proper beep sound with each key pressed, but after correctly entering my combination, it gave the error beeps as if I had entered the wrong code. Wash, rinse, repeat for several attempts with the same result, error beeps and eventually alarm beeps as if I entered the wrong code. My combination never worked again. The safe became impossible to open, and cost me a trip to a locksmith shop and 50 bucks to get it open. Total garbage. Had I tried to grab my passport right before leaving for the airport, I would have missed my trip all together. Thankfully, this happened the day before travel, but as I said- when this thing doesn’t work, it’s too late and you’re screwed. Once it was opened, I tested all the batteries, and they were all still full/good. So it wasn’t a battery issue, but rather a crap product issue. Just beware.

Excellent deal for this sturdy safe. It also comes with electronic combination lock which works great, plus external battery case and a set of emergency keys. Comes with a small LED light lets you see inside in the dark when you open the door. Mounting holes in the back and bottom so you can bolt it to the wall or floor with supplied bolts. Includes a water & fireproof bag. I believe I made a great investment by purchasing this safe.
