The two rear speakers and the sound bar each have their own power adaptor. The subwoofer plugs into the wall with the included power cable. The speakers and sub woofer connect via Bluetooth to the Sound bar which controls the entire system. They are supposed to come pre-paired but mine did not. The manual pairing instructions did not work. I emailed the support team on Friday night and by Sunday morning I had a detailed reply (which was good customer service). They didn't give a phone number so email is the only way. The reply let me figure things out and everything paired quickly (my version of instructions below). Sound quality is very good for my ear but I am sure audiophiles will have complaints. Volume only goes to 34 but this is VERY loud for TV watching. There is a small display in the center of the sound bar (behind the grill so it hides it when not in use). the display is only necessary for changing modes. The device comes with a remote (you have to provide 2xAAA batteries due to shipping concerns). The remote is only really necessary for setup or changing modes. I connected my TV to the sound bar using a standard HDMI cable and the ARC port on my TV. Most recent TVs have this but you need to verify you have an ARC port. The speaker system comes with an HDMI cable, a digital optical cable, and standard RCA cables so you will be able to connect it to any audio device made in the last 20 years. By using ARC, the TV remote controls the sound through the speakers and automatically turns off the TV speaker. Pretty cool. When you push volume up/down, my TV shows a +/- and the ARC letters but the display hidden in the sound bar shows the volume level in bright white numerals that disappear after you are done adjusting the sound. This is great. Once you pair the speakers, you don't have to pair them again. They are supposed to come pre-paired out of the box, but mine did not. I strongly recommend you pair the speakers before doing any installation simply by plugging them all in near each other with the back of the remote speakers and subwoofer facing you so you can see the pairing button and red light. Here is what was not clear in the instructions or is hard to find: (1) When the sound bar is off, a red light is on (behind the grill). When the sound bar is on, the red light is off. You can leave the sound bar on 24/7. (2) you turn the sound bar on/off by pressing the power button on the remote and pointing it at the center of the sound bar. If you lose the remote, the important buttons are in a circle on the right hand side of the sound bar (instructions describe function of each button). (3) If auto pairing doesn't work, this is how you pair the speakers: - Plug in all 4 devices and turn on sub woofer (toggle switch on back) - turn off the sound bar so solid red light shows - there should be a flashing red light on the back of both remote speakers and the subwoofer - There is a pairing button on the back of each speaker and sub woofer. Only the sub woofer button is labeled and I didn't see this info in the instructions. There is only one button on each so you can't get confused. -Long press the pairing button on the back of each speaker/sub woofer for 5 seconds until the red light goes from flashing steadily to flashing rapidly. Now it is in pairing mode. I think you have to do everything in 1 minute (thus why I said place 3 speakers together with backs facing you). - once you have repeated this process for both speakers and sub woofer the red lights on all three should be flashing rapidly. This means they are in pairing mode. - Now turn on the sound bar using the remote. The red light on the sound bar will go out and the white letters should briefly appear. Mine said "No USB". I guess that means in ships in USB mode. - Very quickly the other speakers should have solid red lights meaning they are paired. Once paired the instructions say you never have to pair them again but I am writing this on day one so I will update if necessary. - Using the mode button on the remote, change the sound bar mode to whichever connection you are using. I used ARC but you can use digital audio, AUX (for using the old fashioned RCA cables), or USB for playing music with a thumb drive. I imagine digital audio has better sound quality but I don't know that. Also I don't know if digital audio does the same TV remote control trick as ARC does. - Once everything is working you should be able to install the speakers without ever using the remote again or having to pair again. The speakers go on tables or the wall behind the listener and the subwoofer sits on the floor. Close to the listener will help you feel the sound but it has to be plugged into wall power. Keep in mind if you mount the sound bar on the wall (mounting hardware included) you will need to run the cable for the TV and the power adaptor cable in the wall if you don't want them to show. I will update this review if I find things don't work as well as I wrote here. I thought I detected some glitches in the sound the first 15 seconds of a movie but it went away so I may have imagined it. On day one, I am very happy with the purchase.

Fantastic, impressive system for the price! The system was up and running in 20 minutes from the time it was unpacked from its well designed packaging . The real draw for me was finding a system that allowed for all speakers (especially the ear ones) to be connected wirelessly via bluetooth, thus avoiding the hassle and unsightliness of running speaker wires to each speaker. Unlike some reviews that indicated that the speakers had to be paired manually, mine paired automatically the first try. The key is to make sure the sound bar is not only plugged in but powered on via the neatly laid out remote that comes with the system. The sound quality is very, very good. The base woofer certainly lets its presence be known, and the treble is clean and crisp. Very impressive given the price point. I also like the ability to control the volume of the rear speakers. Volume of the entire system is more than adequate in the 20 x 40 ft room (with 24 ft cathedral ceilings) in which it is located. I highly recommend this system. You will not need to spend a ton of money to obtain a great sounding setup.

Now I have surround sound for my LG. This speaker set is wireless and was easy to set up. They made the TV sound crisper and clearer. I get the surround effects when they are part of the programing. My only complaint on this set, is I am unable to program each speaker independently.

Great sound bar I'll admit I was skeptical about how much difference a soundbar could really make - until I tried this one. The minute I turned it on for the first movie night, my family actually stopped talking and just stared at the screen. That's when I knew this wasn't your average TV speaker upgrade. Setting everything up took maybe 15 minutes total. The soundbar connected to my TV with a single HDMI cable (they include one in the box, which was nice). The wireless subwoofer found its signal immediately when I plugged it in, and the rear speakers paired just as easily. No complicated apps to download or confusing menus to navigate - just plug and play. What really blew me away was watching an old action movie we've seen a dozen times. Suddenly we were hearing details we'd never noticed before - subtle background noises, clearer dialogue, and bass that actually made the couch vibrate during explosions. My teenager said it was like watching a whole new movie. The rear speakers make effects like car chases or rainstorms feel like they're happening all around you. For music, it's just as impressive. I streamed some classic rock through Bluetooth and my husband thought I'd bought new speakers - the guitar solos were crisp and the drums had real punch. The subwoofer isn't obnoxiously loud but adds just the right amount of depth. Little things make a big difference too. When I watch late-night shows after everyone's asleep, the night mode keeps the volume even so sudden loud commercials don't blast me off the couch. And not having to run wires to the rear speakers means my living room stays tidy. At this price, I expected something decent but not amazing. What I got was a system that makes every movie, show, and song sound better than I imagined. If you're thinking about upgrading your TV sound, just get this - your ears will thank you.
