    • Stopped working within a week!
It worked initially for a few days but then within a week, the fan stopped working. Lights came on and humidity is high enough for it to kick in but nothing happened. Really disappointed, would not recommend.

    • this thing does not really reduce humidity in a 1000sqft room
I have the main room of the house 1000 sqft and a room upstairs blocked off. I have a sensor for humidity in both rooms. Both rooms have the same humidity, which also matches my thermostat in the main house. Turn on machine. This machine is loud and runs all the time unless you manually stop it. even in auto setting it just runs. 12 hours of running will fill up the bucket - so it is pulling moisture out of the air. after 10 hours, the humidity in the main room matches the humidity in the closed off room upstairs. however the humidity is the same as when it started, not lower, not higher. No difference. Then the noise. This is loud, not as loud as a vacuum but its close. All of this means the machine goes back. Doing 2 stars because it did pull moisture out of the air. Maybe it will work better for you in a basement setting. ... show more
