Why did you pick this product vs others?: I would not consider this a fireproof safe , it’s only metal walled . It comes with a fireproof bag to put inside . That’s not a fireproof safe it’s a fireproof bag inside a safe ! False advertising and misleading .

This is a budget safe that provides a reasonable amount of security. It is easy to access with a keypad or a key. It comes with an external battery pack you can plug in if the internal batteries die and you can’t find your key. It has removable shelves. I’m glad I went with the larger size. We like this safe. It is very stout and secure. Also, it's easy to use. We did not mount it to our wall - instead placed it on top of our large gun safe and a secure location. We're glad we got it - and would buy it again.

All it took was my roommate who's trying to stay clean just kick the front of the safe multiple times to and it popped open and all my medication is gone. Awesome, avoid at all cost. EDIT: After trying to repeat multiple times, I couldn't repeat kocking it open to matter where I hit it. I may have forgot to turn the latch, anyway I reinforced it. No one's getting in it unless they cut through the metal. ... show more
