This doesn't provide a curl holding miracle for me, but it does work. My curls are uneven (2B & 2C), so I try to scrunch up the more wavy parts, and this gel seems to encourage more curl than wave on those sections. A little goes a long way for this; if you have crunchy hair, you have used too much product. I like that this has no silicones to build up on my hair, and the ingredients list is nice except for a lot of fragrance ingredients. Fortunately, the intensity of the fragrance dissipates and is tolerable once the hair dries although I would prefer even less fragrance. I've really enjoyed using this curl gel lately, and it's quickly become a staple in my hair routine. It has an almost cream-like consistency but performs like an actual gel, providing a lightweight to medium hold. Lately, I haven't been feeling motivated to style my curly hair because the products I've tried in the past either didn't work well or required too much time and effort. So, I was thrilled to discover this gel after doing some research on it. In the past, the gels I used for styling tended to dry out my hair after a few days, which was super frustrating. I ended up switching to leave-in conditioners only, but they never quite gave me the definition or hold I wanted. Thankfully, this gel is different. It doesn't dry out my hair at all. Instead, it leaves my curls feeling nicely moisturized without any added dryness. One of my favorite things about this gel is the scent. I'm really picky about how my hair products smell, and I won't use anything unless I love the fragrance. This gel has a nice clean, lightweight scent that leaves my hair smelling fantastic for days. It even complements the other fragrances in my different hair products. When it comes to application, a little goes a long way. If you use too much, your curls might end up looking crunchy, which I absolutely hate. I've had to redo my hair a few times because of that. But with the right amount, it provides a nice hold. Some of my curls were a bit stiff at first, but I easily loosened them up with a finishing touch of hair oil. This not only helped keep my hair shiny and healthy but also added a bit of flexibility to the hold and I ended up with soft, voluminous curls that retained their shape for days - making my wash and go last longer. Overall, my hair loves this gel, and I'm excited to try other products from this brand to see if they perform just as well. This gel is definitely a keeper and has become my new go-to for styling. I really like it and would recommend to everyone with curls!

My hair is very fine and wavy but I have a ton of it and I found this product to be a little too heavy for that hair type. Seems to be a good product though for coarser hair.

This curl defining gel is really nice. It definitely helped to shape and hold my curls really well. It also helped to control frizziness for me. It didn’t make my hair feel crunchy at all. It has a really nice scent.

I like the thin texture of the gel but it doesn't do anything for my curls. In fact, it seems to keep them weighed down. The gel doesn't dry crunchy or anything to add to this, just seems to stop my curls from being as good as they are without product. Which is odd. But I air dry my curls, so perhaps blow drying with a diffuser would help. Idk. I'll update if it does. But I've used this about 10 times and the results are disappointing.

This gel is a clear formula that has a silky almost feel typical to products that contain aloe vera. It applies easily into the hair. I have thick, long hair with coarser texture and this provides adequate control and tames the frizz. It is not a heavy formula nor does it leave my hair crunchy. It has a light floral like perfume type scent that is typical to products geared towards women. This is paraben free and made in the USA with domestic and foreign components.

Smells great but leaves a white buildup after a few minutes. I tried it in my slick straight hair and in my curly hair baby and both was not good
