I am giving the oven mits a 4 rating only because of the size. They were made for small hands. Some consideration should be given to the fact that men do cook too, and their hand are larger than women's. Mine are not extraordinarily large but the mits were too small to allow me to get a good grip on the hot pans. Otherwise, the mits and potholders are well made of quality material. They are thick and well insulated. I would recommend them for any one with small hands. I gave them to my daughter in law. They fit her hands very well, and she likes them.
