I got these to use underneath my daughter's bed that I put on a single kallax lift platform so that there was more support. I've seen many people just put the 1x4 Ikea kallax under a bed but I wanted some more stability and safety so I bought these. My daughter's bed had slats under it so these were easy to attach to her bed frame. They feel plenty stable but again there's four of them and also the platform storage cubes. They were a bit expensive but I'd rather have spent money and know that they're good quality. I do have them on carpet and they've not slid at all so I can't say how they would do on hardwood. They were easy to adjust even with all of the things under the bed as I was working on it as it's mostly a giant stuffed animal Storage Fort.

Be sure to measure the thickness of the wood center slat before ordering!

I guess I didn't pay attention to the length of the bolts included with this set and when we tried to install it, we realized the bolts were too short for our center slat :-( We created a work around to make them work for us because the quality of them is very good and they have held in place even with 2 pit bulls roughhousing on the bed...LOL (That's what broke the original wood ones that came with the bed). I overall recommend these.

It was really flimsy I literally had to drill holes and mount them to my bed frame. The way they were supposed to be mounted just bent the flange and made my bed wobbly.
