I'm 5'3 and 170lbs so I bought two different colors, one large (in olive) and one XL (in garden green). I honestly think I could have gone with medium for a more fitted look. The dress is super pretty, it's comfy and I like that you can adjust the height of the slit. The cowl neck was a little big, even on the large, which is also why I think I could have gone with a medium. Both colors were pretty and true to the picture. I returned both. UPDATE: I bought the brown in a medium and it’s PERFECT! The color is more of a rust, which I LOVE and the dress hugs in all the right places, and the cowl neck part is so much better looking, no excess fabric. Key takeaway: size down 2 sizes for a fitted look, 1 for a looser look. Buy it! ... show more

Bought this as a bridesmaid dress - wasn't sure it would pass, but the bride loved it she wants one for herself too. Amazon said med would fit, but I know I'm heftier than they think (5'3 @145-150ish) & don't like my clothes tight/snug (bcuz it gets worse when I eat) so the lg worked perfectly. It works great for my rolls and kangaroo pooch! Lighting wasn't the best, so not sure how much of my cellulite will show in daylight.... But it's pretty good material from what I can see/feel for price. Do wish it was a tiny bit thicker in that pt tho. That and that I had a bigger chest LOL. ... show more

Money well spent! I loved how sexy I felt in this dress! I ordered the blue in medium and it is such a pretty color. Easy to put on, as there is some stretch to it. My favorite part of the dress obviously was the slit and how it hid my c section pooch (something I’m very insecure about). I gave it only 4 stars because there were some loose threads on the dress and it does feel a little cheap but you get what you pay for. I have never bought a satin/ "tight" dress because I automatically thought that it wouldn't be flattering on me. This dress has proved me wrong. It bunches in just the right spots and you can adjust where you want the "bunching" to be. I also wore this to a summer wedding. It was lightweight and kept me pretty cool.
