Not for human habitation: very garish. Lead wires too short for easy installation. About 24ga, not easy to wire-nut. I used Wago though the wires were at the size limit. Cheapskates don't include screws to attach baseplate to the box. Would not buy again.

The good : very bright, great for a hallway or bedroom. The bad : the wire nuts are extremely small, they really need to be about twice the size. You will also need to strip the wires coming out of the light to expose more of the wire and BUY ELECTRICAL TAPE to wrap everything up nice and neat. I got the light to work briefly but then the wire nuts slipped when trying to attach it to the ceiling base. Also, it's completely plastic which is going to yellow over time, so assume you'll replace it in a few years. The instructions are for experienced electricians or DIYers, so if you don't know your way around a hot wire or a neutral wire. Get someone who does to install it. **update, it's up, it's working, it is a lot brighter than it looks. I ended up having to change out the light switch that had a built in dimmer for a regular light switch. Now that I've done it once, I may get one for my bedroom** ... show more

Very easy to install. We put it at the bottom of our stairs. Very bright light but not glaring. There is a slight delay after we flip the switch but not that much.
