I was tired of a major squeegie job after every shower, so I applied the clear untinted film to the inside. No need to squeegie now. It was a little harder work with because it was thicker and I have a few bubbles, but the shower glass is protected.

Earlier this spring, I decided to do some repairs to my sandblasting cabinet. The glass had cracked and was so clouded over from use that it was almost impossible to see through. My cabinet is not one of the major brands where you can by film custom cut for the window, so I purchased this roll of film and measured my own piece out. It applied very easily to the glass and should give it some protection against the glass beads I use for blast material. It has been a couple of months since I applied the film and the cabinet has been sitting unused during that time. I just went to the garage to snap the picture included with this review and noticed several small areas where the adhesive seems to have come loose. It won't have a significant impact on the job I am using it for, and I cannot honestly remember what it looked like immediately after applying it, but I'd hope for better adhesion over time.

People coming in thinking this will be simple, will get frustrated at how it won’t stick. It takes patience. Wipe the water away, don’t let it sit after you squeegee it out. I have put it on my backyard sliding door since I have a dog who constantly jumps at it and scratches it. This has saved my door for the past month. Easy for me to install and you can’t even notice it. Just make sure you get the right size. I don’t know why I didn’t double check the sizes… But 10/10.

Tried the 4Mil Security Window Film with high hopes of turning my windows into fortress-grade barriers. What I got instead was a roll of transparent disappointment. Despite following the instructions (and even consulting the dark arts), this stuff simply refuses to stick. It peels, it bubbles, it slides around like it’s auditioning for Dancing with the Windows. At one point, I was holding a hair dryer, a squeegee, and my dignity — and by the end, I had lost all three. Bottom line: if you're looking for security, this ain't it. The only thing this film is shatterproof against is your hopes and dreams. Save yourself the frustration, the wasted time, and the existential dread — and look elsewhere.

Ends won't stick because it was rolled tightly in the wrong direction, needs to roll inward towards sticky side. No matter how long you lay it flat and weigh down the ends, it simply rolls straight off the glass once applied. The middle is great, sticks and easy to apply, the ends are awful. Tools are really nice and work well to get bubbles out. I've resorted to using tape the hold it down, hoping in a few days they'll stay on at the ends. I'm past my return window bc I had too many projects going on so I put this one off.
