    • Small press
Great for small projects. I was a little disappointed because the press is so small.

    • Pressed flower art
This was very easy to use. We had fun gathering flowers and then creating art. This is great for making handmade gifts or fun art for the home.

    • Looks like a fun gift
Bought a few times as a birthday gift for 5 year old girls. They seem to like it. My son who likes arts and crafts saw it and also wanted one.

    • Not worth it. Get a better quality flower press
I got this as a gift for my 7 year old niece because she loves going in my flower garden. I was a bit unimpressed by the actual flower press itself. It's only cardboard so when we got it filled with flowers and screwed the corner bolts down tight the cardboard corners gave way and bent. The flowers did press just fine but the press is only good for one maybe two uses. It was a good introduction to pressing flowers but I would splurge for a better one in the future and bypass this altogether. ... show more

    • Such a great creative gift!
My 7 year old granddaughter loves this. She goes outside and searches for flowers and leaves to press. It gets her outside and encourages her creativity. Love it!

    • Waste of money. Just use a heavy book.
I don't why I thought this would be worth the money when it's no different than pressing flowers in a book I already own. I guess it's because the package makes this cheap set looks so pretty with all the flowers on it but the set doesn't come with anything pretty - you pick your own pretty flowers of course. The 2 "trinket" boxes provided come flat, unmade so you have to fold them and made the boxes yourself which would be fine but they don't stay together with tabs so you have to use glue or tape and they look messy and cheap. The 4 cards and bookmarkers are nice but the area where you can glue a flower is very small and you could make your own with your own paper and make your card/bookmarker truly homemade. They provide envelopes that you have to fold yourself and keep it together with the double sided tape they provide. Everything is tiny so you need to use only very tiny flowers or use only petals of bigger flowers. Inserting the flowers into each layer of the flower press and then screwing the 4 sides down tight is tedious especially since you could just dry your flowers in the pages of a heavy book you already have. The flower press is just cardboard and white copy machine paper that are held together by plastic screws. Overall, this is not a good introductory set for kids. Teaching them to be resourceful and economical by picking free flowers on hikes and then using a heavy book they already own and then glue the dried flowers to craft or printer paper to make their own cards and bookmarks is much more valuable than this set. ... show more
