  • Excellent micro sd storage card--very fast!
Capacity: 512GB Style: Memory Card Only
This micro SD card fit perfectly in my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and works extremely well. It is very fast to load data and also plays video with no lag nor drops. Highly recommended. The only con is that the packaging is not easy to open. Tip: use a good set of scissors to cut around the card in the last set of plastic and peel the thin layer away from the card. I had to carefully cut the thin plastic with a knife to free the card itself. All else was great! ... show more

  • Works surprisingly well with 5k video
Capacity: 512GB Style: Memory Card Only
This was purchased for Video storage on an Insta360 X4 action camera. I have a SanDisk Extreme Pro SD card which is faster than this one, and was curious to see if this would serve my needs while reducing the cost. Now, I'm very happy with the faster SanDisk Extreme Pro feeling it delivers great value. This purchase was to determine likewise the value, performance at this cost point, and whether it was good for my particular needs. To give this a fair test I interchanged both this card and the Extreme Pro card on the same 4,000 mile motorcycle trip, using the same camera. To my delight the recorded footage was the same quality and performance across the two cards. I varied the recording quality from 4K to 5.7K resolution to test out the ability of the SD card to record without lagging or dropping frames. When compared back and forth the videos were of comparable quality. I also tested the capacity and recording time and again, both were comparable. I also inserted the Micro-SD card into the adapter to insert in my computer to test throughput in read/write speeds. There the differences showed between the two cards, but nevertheless, each performed withing range of their reported capabilities and specifications. (Neither sustained the read/write speed specs stated, but both were quite respectable.) I can recommend this card for anyone where these specs fit their device and needs! ... show more

  • This little memory card packs power and memory!
Capacity: 128GB Style: Memory Card Only
I liked the price for these. I needed one for my GoPro, and it works fantastic. It is fast, read/write speed is great. Video resolution in 5K will take up a lot of memory, but this little card is perfect! Definitely recommend you get one. I also used one for my drone to record in 4K, it is a marvelous job handing the high quality 4K at 30 fps. ... show more

  • SanDisk Quality & Reliability. Good Read/Write Speed. VG Micro SDxc. But Where's The Plastic Case?
Capacity: 512GB Style: Memory Card Only
Purchased the SanDisk Extreme 512 GB Micro SDxc for $29.99 (Promotion Price) on 01-06-2024. If you hadn't been in hibernation for the last 20 years, you should know that SanDisk is, arguably, THE premier manufacturer of memory cards. Their cards are fast and reliable. I've been using their CF (Compact Flash) and SD cards (UHS-I and UHS-II) for years and years. When I needed Micro SDxc cards for several cameras (2 GoPro HERO12 Black, Insta360 X3, and Mini 3 Pro drone), the two brands that I thought of were SanDisk and Lexar. SanDisk has a longer history and their cards have a little higher speed rating, but with higher prices. Lexar is younger, but has built a fine reputation for quality products at a performance level very similar to SanDisk, and costs less. Generally, electronics manufacturers test compatibility with their products by using SanDisk and/or Lexar memory cards, the two brands being the most widely accepted by consumers. Both had cards that were tested and recommended by GoPro, Insta360, and DJI. I chose the SanDisk Extreme for the Insta360. Why? Two reasons: faster read and write performance. Read = Up to 190MB/s. Write = Up to 130MB/s. As an aside, I went with the SanDisk Extreme PRO 512 GB Micro SDxc for the two GoPro HERO12 cameras. The Extreme PRO is better suited for rugged use: shockproof, waterproof, better temperature resistance. Action cameras are subject to jerking/shuddering movements, sometimes violent, and vibrations, so the PRO is a better fit. It's expensive, however. For the Mini 3 Pro, I went with the Lexar Professional 1066x 512 GB Micro SDxc. FYI, pay attention to the read/write speed of the SanDisk card. Don't jump on it because one seller has it for less. It may be cheaper because it's the older, slower version. There still are older Extreme and Extreme PRO cards for sale that are slower than the current generation, so verify that you're getting the latest iteration with improved speeds. EDITORIAL. One thing that I absolutely HATE about SanDisk is that they DON'T include the little plastic cases with their cards. Why not? Lexar and other makers do! It only costs a few cent$ in the scale SanDisk would purchase. Those cases are a necessity, not a luxury. They need to place an emphasis on "service" in the term, Customer Service. Stop being so CHEAP! Lexar is on your heels. It's the little touches that make a difference, and it appears that Lexar cares more... ... show more
