  • Works fine
I really like the fact that it came with a memory card. The price is awesome compared to its competition. It does exactly what it says it is supposed to do. My little explorer will love them! Thanks.

  • Impressively sharp images, almost like having a DSLR with telephoto lens
My initial impression using these binoculars is that the images are impressively sharp in standard mode. The night vision mode looks great as well but I still need to find an opportunity to extensively test the feature. For your reference, it seems that the binoculars have the closest focusing distance of about 3-4 ft, which is not too bad at all. The auto brightness is very quick to react and it meters whatever is in the center of the image area. There’s no way to adjust different metering areas. The focusing can be done manually via an adjustment ring over the lens. Unlike your normal binoculars, you only observe the image through the digital screen. While some may find that less than ideal (me included), the screen has a very nice resolution so that you can tweak the focusing of the image to be nice and sharp. Impressive as these binoculars are, I do have a few complaints. - The screen brightness doesn’t adjust the brightness of the screen itself. Instead, it is more like adjusting the aperture of the lens to let more or less light in. When you adjust the “screen brightness” it adjust the brightness or the image but it doesn’t adjust how bright the actual screen is. Currently the screen is plenty bright for daytime. However, the screen is way too bright at night. Since there’s no good way to adjust the actual brightness of the screen, this is not ideal if you’re using this to observe animals at night. - There are no lens caps or screen cap to protect the sensitive parts of the binoculars. If you are not careful when you use the binoculars, you could scratch the lens and crack the screen. This makes it less than ideal to use the binoculars outdoors unless you have a good quality case. - There is no image stabilization optically or digitally. This means that, without a tripod, you would get blurry images and videos. Luckily, there is a 1/4” screw attachment which would allow you to attach the binoculars to most tripod heads. The above complaints are not deal breakers to me and they don’t diminished the impressive sharpness and resolution. While the “screen brightness” don’t really do what it is intended for, it is nice to be able to adjust the aperture/brightness of the image. At default, the brightness is set to level 5 and the image feels a bit washed out with no contrast. However, once I adjust the brightness to level 1, the image seem to have a nice amount of contrast and not so washed out. This is great setting for low-light condition. For night vision, there may be a different brightness level that would work best. Again, I have to test out the night vision mode more extensively to find a happy setting. The image and video resolution is also another impressive feature of the binoculars. The maximum video resolution is 4k and the max image resolution is 36MP. I will have to study the images and videos more closely once I import and process them. Given that on a small screen the images are nice and sharp, I expect to be impressed by the image quality. I’ll update this review with more findings as I continue to use and enjoy these binoculars. ... show more

  • Light weight, easy to hold and user friendly.
I ordered these to use on an upcoming trip and to observe my large backyard at night to watch the various varmin. These night vision binoculars actually do have night vision. When you turn them on and start using them, the Night Vision feature, by default, is not turned on. You can turn it on by pressing the Nightvison+ button. Speaking of which, it is very important to review the product manual before using these binoculars. Otherwise, you'll feel like the first reviewer does who didn't review it to understand the simple steps to use these awesome Nightvison goggles. These night vision goggles are very comfortable to hold and the safety strap that's included will help with preventing these goggles from being dropped, like they helped me out twice already. Being lightweight, you'd think that they'd be easier to hold, which they can be, but just as easy to slip and drop. So far these goggles have been interesting and fun to use. I was able to watch a congregation of 25 rabbits and 10 squirrels chase each other around at 1am in the morning. Never thought I'd see squirrels running around in the middle of the night. The night vision worked much better than I expected. The 4K part is more of the screen ratio than it is the resolution for these night vision binoculars. Speaking of which, I love the big size viewfinder screen, instead of sticking my eyeballs into two holes. Additionally, it's nice that this came with a 32gb Micro SD card. Many manufacturers don't include a memory card, or if they do it's a very small size. Also, the rechargable battery is built in, so you need to worry about having batteries hand. Then goggles took about 90 mins to charge. The only thing missing from this is a carry pouch. These should have included a carry pouch. ... show more

  • It is impressive the things you can see with these binoculars
The media could not be loaded. I got these night vision binoculars with hunting in mind. Hogs and some other animals can be hunted at night and it is important to see what is around you because predators are active at night as well. I haven't been hunting yet, but I have scouted around the neighborhood and the view is quite clear. The infrared lights up the surroundings well and the various levels of IR and zoom let you see farther out. They are rated for 1000 feet, but I don't look anywhere near that far. The picture is, of course, not the quality of professional IR vision, but it is quite impressive and you can clearly see leaves, objects, and animals in pitch black. I took a video out of the back of my house so you can see the effects of the infrared and the detail you get. I have had these binoculars for over a month so far and they hold the charge well and do more than I expected. I haven't used them long enough at 1 time to run the battery all the way down since I charge it before each use, but it hasn't had issues yet. The large screen is nice and the optics are pretty good as well. I definitely enjoy having them when it's dark out and I'm walking around. ... show more

  • Great picture, light plastic construction
Picture quality is great, nice and clear. Easy enough to figure out. Instructions were pretty clear. Only thing i dont like it the body of it, it's all plastic. When you press down on the button, it makes a loud click. Kind of annoying, they could've but some rubber to dampen it. For the price, I'd prefer a bit better quality, but the overall function is good. ... show more
