The night vision worked well from my windows to the night street. It is more like a toy serving some functional purposes and may or may not be too useful for serious use like hunting or trapping. However, for the promotional price, it is well worth it.

This Hojocojo Night Vision Goggles - 4K Night Vision Binoculars for Adults, is for ADULTS, because if a "child" were to use this, they would by their nature (not treating most things delicately), would likely "break" them. First of all, this product is NOT a "binocular" it's a MONOCULAR as it has ONLY ONE lens that it uses for imaging. The "other" "lens" is actually the IR illuminator and NOT an "optical" lens. Second, the "night vision" is limited to within 300 feet (if that functionally) according to the instructions. The "night vision" imaging is dubious at best in many cases. Third, while this product is "plastic" and lightweight, it feels comfortable in hand and the controls are easy to reach and operate. The menu is easy to navigate and has good control and functionality. I like the ability to "time stamp and date" your photos, along with the ability to turn that feature OFF. The photo density / quality can be set from 2MP all the way up to 32MP, and the screen display is good and clear and crisp. The optical lens can be adjusted for focus to adapt to your vision and distance of your subject objective. The product has a socket for mounting on a tripod (which is good and necessary for taking photos at the higher quality settings) and handy for viewing LONG distance subjects to reduce or eliminate vibration or unsteady physical movement. Overall, this is a very good "camera" for taking good quality photos up close or at good distances, just don't expect "military" quality "night vision" at this price, and I think that "night vision" is more of a gimmick than a fully functional feature, something to "play" with. I think it's a little expensive for what you actually get, although the camera features and functionality along with a memory card being included may reasonably justify the price. Just don't have unreasonable expectations by the description. You're getting a good camera with a memory card in a creative package that you can mount on a tripod, and that may just be good enough. I like the photos it is capable of taking and it's a "fun" camera with good controls and a fun "night vision" to play with, and I like it overall. ... show more

At this price point they are hard to beat. Build quality is reasonable however the video quality is a pleasant surprise. I use these when looking for hot spots after a wild fire and that work extremely for that. All around they are great and the buttons are easy to navigate after a little practice.
