This camera is perfect for us.. I shoot with a Sony a7r3, and my son sees me using it and then he wants to use it, but I don’t want to risk him messing up my expensive camera, so this gives him an affordable alternative that I’m not so worried about something happening to. Hey there, I would not recommend this camera to anyone. Particular points: - The instructions to connect to WiFi take you to settings where a QR code is displayed. Once you read it with your phone it will take you to a no-name website, prompting to register and "verify" your account with a credit card. If you scroll down, in a small print, it says that after a "free trial" it will start charging 40$ a month for "content" (I guess movies, etc) until you decide to cancel. I did not subscribe for any movies or "content". I just want the camera to connect to WiFi. - If you try the other route, you need to download XDV PRO app (by the way rated at 2.6 stars on Google Store) and connect this way. However, once you try to open the app it requires access to ALL of your phone files and location (why would anyone give them access to EVERYTHING on the phone? Banking info, email access, etc?) If denied, the app does not work. Bottom line, there's no way to connect to WiFi unless you sign up for some scammy website or XDV PRO owners will have anything you have on you phone. - There's no way to take the pictures off the phone other than physically removing memory card and inserting to your computer, if it has the appropriate slot. WiFi troubles described above, when connecting phone to a computer via cable it will only charge, there's no way to access pictures. - Overall picture quality is horrible. My 4 years old android phone, which cost about the same 100$, has by far better picture quality. There are some other operational issues with the camera, including relatively short battery life, but this review is already too long to go into all of those. Bottom line, I would stronly recommend to stay as far away from this product as possible. Spend a bit more money to buy something else of a higher quality. ... show more

    • Can’t transfer photos to an iPhone using the app

I am so disappointed in the camera, and the sharing app. When you turn on the WiFi on the camera, the camera shows the QR code to scan for the app, the QR code stays on the screen, I can’t turn the dial on camera to take pictures or the WiFi turns off. Can’t transfer the photos to my phone either. I’m completely baffled and going to try to return it. They need to give an operation manual on the how to’s. There’s no manual that comes with the camera. I wouldn’t recommend this to people who tend to use it for business photography for a solution to a quick transfer. ... show more

I bought this camera because my sister and I took a once in a lifetime trip to New Orleans. We bought a 35mm camera and film, we took so many pictures. When we got home, we went to CVS to get the film back and there were no shots of the thing we saw and did, we were heartbroken. This camera took us a little more time to learn how to use, but we can see our pictures right now. We can upload them to internet it has built in wi-fi. I took it to my grandsons 2year old birthday party 5-21-2023. It was amazing the pic I got will last a lifetime. On June 12-2023 were taking camera to Las Vagas and I know we will get some amazing shots. My sister and I will get all the shots this time. ... show more
