Have had this USB modem deployed for awhile and it works flawlessly on T-Mobile as my failover connection. Speeds are only fair (30mbps down / up) compared to what I can get on my phone but it is reliable and works without any additional configuration with Asuswrt-Merlin.

"Plug 'n' Play"? NOT! The device arrived WITHOUT any user manual or other documentation (contrary to what Amazon.com's site said to expect). I inserted an activated SIM card in my dual-boot laptop. Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04 both recognized it as an Ethernet adapter, but nothing else happened. No IP address or other network config was pulled down from the network. No prompt for other user input. Could it be that there was no cell network service? Could be, but the device did not report that to the default device drivers. And my T-Mobile smartphone and IoT cell devices work just fine here. I recommend: DO NOT BUY. ... show more
