Installed them in my basement to replace some old florescent bulbs that flickered, buzzed and were just plain annoying. These things install super easy on the joists, and are extremely bright for the money, I've got them on the lowest setting and it's still almost too much. The adjustable color temp is also quite nice. Only negative is you can't adjust them without taking the covers off if you wanted. Also if you screw them down too tightly the housing warps slightly and makes a gap on the cover plate. So just snug them down so they don't move and it's all good. Look good and low profile. You'll want to pick up some Romex jbox clamps to protect the wire going into them is all you'll need everything else you need is included. Very impressed with the price and performance, we shall see how long they last. But anything remotely comparable at the home improvement store is nearly 2-4x the price. ... show more

It was easy to install for me, but I don't want to assume for everyone. Wiring a new outlet requires some degree of competence, but it you can use wire nuts and drill/screw some screws into the ceiling or wall, this light is super light and very easy to install. Because it is long, it may need help to support the light in place while you screw/drill into place. The quality is sturdy, lightweight, and surprisingly bright, especially at the 75 watt setting. I also really like the color spectrum from 3500K to 5000K with a nice in between choice at 4000K. 1 light can really light up a small room and 4 lights light up even a pretty big room. ... show more

I bought these lights to replace old ballast tube type 8' T12 lights in my shop with a 12' ceiling. These lights fit the bill nicely! I didn't have any of the common problems reviews talk about with damage during shipping, Mine arrived in perfect condition. Installation was easy, Directions and hardware for everything is included with the lights. I installed 4 lights on my 12' ceiling in 2 hours. These lights are twice as bright as my old ballast type lights, I am amazed and very satisfied with the brightness. These lights are also VERY nice and sleek looking. I bought a 4 pack of these to replace 4 of my old non-working lights and I like them so much I'm going to replace the rest of them in my shop. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for bright lights for a garage, Shed or workshop, You will not be disappointed. Very Bright and good value. My only problem is the built-in LED power supplies are too noisy for my Chamberlain Garage Door opener. When these lights are off my car can open/close the door from 60' away when the lights are on the car opener only work inside the garage.
