We had two 4' fluorescent fixtures fail, one in my outdoor shed and another in the attic. We took the old ones down and hung these right up using the same hooks. Both these were suspended by chains. The enclosed chain and hardware worked perfectly. It was amazing how much lighter these new LED units are compared to the old fluorescent ones w/their heavy ballasts. If you already have old ones hung by chains, you prolly won't even need any tools. ... show more

These lights are great for my shop. I put them up as soon as they arrived. These are replacements for some previous light that quit working. You can attach to your light switch or use the pull chain to turn on.

I replaced a fluorescent fixture with this thing. Thought the bulbs were replaceable, and maybe they are, but at first glance they don't appear to be. Still, the entire setup is about the price of a couple of bulbs. That makes sense, because the housing is extremely flimsy. I don't expect it to last either - see the pics. One of the lights never shuts off completely. I don't know if this is so the daisy chain of lights will work without the first light being on maybe (so like a faulty 3-way switch?). Anyway it'll do til it doesn't I guess. Then I'll put the other one in. ... show more
