These lights are fantastic! I just set them up and they have great features my other grow lights lack. What I really like is the timer built in to the power cord so I don’t have to have an external timer. Easy to assemble.

I will start by saying this would be a 5 star review, IF they weren't market as grow lights. I have a lot of grow lights, and specialty lights in general, and these are just plain old 5000k lights. I'm sure they COULD grown and sustain plants, but so can just about any other light. There are no specialized diodes on these that would make them any better or worse than any other 5000k household light, other than they are extremely bright. That said... the value here is insane for other lighting purposes. In my case, i'll be using them as shop/basements lights, and the 6 peice kit is more than enough to illuminate the entire 900sq ft of my basement, and do it very well. The customization offered by all the included connectors and power cords is incredible. Any configuration you can think of, you can do. Want one long strip? Done. Want 3 medium strips? Done. Want to place all 6 lights in different spots? Done. Want 1 light over here, and 3 over there, and 2 over there, all on different plugs/switches? Done! They include so much mounting hardware, including zip ties so you dont even have to screw them in if you dont want/cant. These would also make for great, if not extremely overpowered shelf lighting, or under cabinet lighting. They have a clean and simple and style, and are very "low profile". You can put these just about anywhere you can imagine. I think they really missed the mark trying to advertise specifically as grow lights.. the only real grow light feature they have is the built in timers, but they arent customisable, and the maximum duration of 12 on 12 off isnt long enough for most plants in the vegging stage. So they lose the star, because as far as grow lights go, these aren't good. But like I said, for a whole bunch of other uses, this kit is absolutely amazing, and a great value. This is probably one the more surprisingly great products I have recieved, and I couldn't be more happy with them, since I knew I wouldn't be using them strictly as grow lights. I really want to give 5 stars, but I just cant, cause of what they are marketed as. I do HIGHLY recommend this product for other purposes though.

I used these above my kitchen cabinets where I have several houseplants. Being that they're so high, they aren't getting much light way up there and are growing really slowly at the point when I ordered these grow lights. I received every part from the parts list and all was very well packed and arrived in excellent condition. I have a whole lot of plants and indoor grow lights, so I usually don't want there to be a timer on individual lights, but instead control them all from surge protectors that have their own timers for everything they power. I was so happy to see that these can be set to the "on" setting and when the timer cuts power and comes on again later, they come back on! So many with individual timers won't turn back on once power cuts off and need to be reset one at a time. So my concern was nonexistent these lights, while still having a reliable timer on each power cord (3, 9, or 12 hours on every 24 hours) if that works best. I love options! They were SO easy to install. There are three power cords, five cord connectors and six small connectors for six light bars. This allows for so many possible configurations. Just use whatever connectors work best. Currently I have three bars connected with small connectors using one power cord, two bars cord-connected with the second power cord, and a single light bar using the last power cord. The light bars put out warmth, but not super hot heat. If anything, over the last month, my plants love it. I have plants that have cozied right up to the plastic cover over the LEDs and it doesn't burn them. These lights put out powerful light! I've seen a drastic improvement in the houseplants they're on now. They've all been where they are for about 4-5 years now. Nothing has changed but the addition of these lights for the past month and they are all perked up and reaching for the lights. I can just now see new growth starting on them like its springtime, but it's the fall. I've had to rotate my plants already which I haven't done in years. There is one thing to keep in mind and it's not a negative, it's just a point of consideration for your uses. The warmth and brightness cannot be adjusted. These lights are every bit as bright and powerful as they claim to be and they do not adjust down to a warmer color or lower intensity. Basically, I absolutely love these. They are excellent quality, highly customizable, powerful grow lights that my plants noticeably really enjoy.
