Everything about this purchase was wonderful. I visited the concord, NC showroom and the store owners there answered my questions and let me test the chairs on site. Then I got a black Friday deal, and paid for the Amazon extra, "room of choice" delivery. The chair arrived on time with a text to alert me beforehand. The delivery folks unboxed the chair, and carried it to my room of choice which has a standard door size (30 inch). They assembled the chair in that room. Note that the assembled chair does not fit thru a standard door (opening 29.5 inches). The delivery guys were so nice, careful, and fast, I was thrilled. The chair is wonderful. One of my favorite things about this chair is that it has rollers in the back of the chair as well as the calves and bottoms of the feet, it is certainly more than just a bunch of air bags. It just melts away any stress or aches. I wish I could give a 10 point review. This chair is voice activated, and I have not yet figured out how to work that feature, but the remote is doing quite nicely without voice control. ie - I have not had to read the manual yet. If you are assembling the chair yourself, there is a very nice youtube video to show you how, just make sure you have 2 strong helpers.

Would give it a 5 but it is very narrow and the get and leg adjustments are awkward to adjust. I'm a 5' 10" man, 210 pounds and I barely got in it. The only way I can use the chair is to turn off all leg functions and adjust down (can't turn off) the air bags that inflate at the shoulder. I'm sure the dimensions listed are accurate and it is listed as a queen model or something indicating it is for women, and that's my fault for believing I could use it. I also have a problem with the return policy on this which requires the original packaging and a charge of about half the cost of the chair. I'm keeping it for now but will probably sell it soon for 1/10th what I paid for it.

My husband suffers from a back injury that he obtained during his service in the Air Force. Every night he has to take medication and me to rub his back, to get any relief. We tried some chairs while visiting the fair, and although they were helpful for his back, it was cost prohibiting for us to purchase one. I found this chair and it had every feature that the ones that we saw at the fair, but cost thousands less, so I took a chance and ordered it. The delivery took less than the estimated time— the chair was very heavy, so you might want to have plenty of muscle power to help place the chair after delivery. Assembly was moderate—if you have a hard time understanding vague instructions, you might want to hire someone, but more than likely you can do it yourself. The chair offers a great variety of settings- although it might take some time to understand different functions. Some people might find the chair a little confining, since your arms and legs will be restrained for most of the programs. It also has a Bluetooth speaker to pipe in soothing music or perhaps an audiobook. The massage rollers might be a little strong for some people, but we found that with small pillows, this solves any issues with that. Like a swimming pool, once others find out you have one, they will stop in for visits. Everyone that has used it claims that they feel better and issues that they has were lessen after a couple of rounds.

UPDATE APRIL 10 March 27 was the video call. The gentleman walked me through finding an actual error code, then he needed to research it. The following day he sent a video of the parts he would order--2 circuit boards, then schedule someone to come out for the installation. I guess the parts did not have to come from china, as I actually received them in less than a week! Yay! HOPE! So I text the tech that they were in. Heard nothing for a few days, so yesterday I call for an update. They said they were negotiating with a local (to me) tech to come install the parts. Then, JUST as I was ready to end the call, the lady mentioned that if I wanted to install them myself, they would send me a free gift since they wouldn't have to pay a tech to install. I'm very handy and am used to fixing anything I can, so OF COURSE I will install them myself. I had just assumed that would not be allowed for the sake of warranty. She said she would put through the email letting them know and they would actually send me a video of how to do it. I never received the video, but that wasn't necessary. The tech had already given me a video showing which parts they would order. So within the hour I had the chair working again! Hubby was thrilled when he came home from work. And last night around 11pm, I celebrated with a cup of ice cream....then crawled in the massage chair. Within 5 minutes of the massage I was so relaxed that I fell asleep in the chair---just like old times!...good thing it has a 20 minute timer. (By the way, I do love the feature that when the timer is done, it just stops massaging and leaves you cradled there as you sleep) Fast forward to 2:30am ....hubs came looking for me. Gently kissed me on the forehead to wake me up and go to bed. The HEAVENLY night of sleep was wonderful. Today, April 10 I received a phone call confirming that the chair was working again and that my free gifts ("massage gun and mat") will be shipping out today. I'm sure hubs and I will be fighting over who falls asleep in the chair tonight. So very happy to have it working again. Conclusion: If your chair has issues, go through the warranty process, get the parts, fix it yourself, and be sure to get your free gift! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Chair Ordered Oct 5 2024. Used a few times each week by 2 adults. The chair started making noises early January. By January 15 it would no longer roll up or down the back, making it useless. Jan 22 i started a claim through the warranty service, even doing a video call with a technician, the same day who took me through the menu to the chinese code screen. He had me try different things to narrow down what the code was. He said he was ordering the part. It would be delivered to me then a tech would come to install it. Feb 4 i hadn't received or heard anything from them. So I call for an update. The lady said "oh, the parts come from China. It will take a while." Fast forward to today March 25 and I call for an update. They claim they have no record of my video call, have no idea who the tech was and that they sent me a email requesting the error code February 4th. ... But the email would have come from the tech. So they have no record of who he is. I searched my email and find Nothing from February 4th. So now a technician will call me to start the process all over. Yeah, I'm not too happy. Husband's ready to chunk it in the dumpster. Maybe I'll be able to change my one star if the chair ever gets fixed. Meanwhile I feel like I wasted my money. Would I recommend it to my friends? No. Not to an enemy either. Oh wait a development as I write this.... A tech just called to schedule a video meet.... kind of sounds like the first guy I talked to January 22. Hoping for the best.
