It's just the right size for our "Fire place/ Front room". There was no ceiling lights in there and sometimes you just want to flick the light switch on and see everything (where did I leave my keys). I like that even though it has a remote it will come on at max brightness when power is supplied. The color temp is random but I don't care I just grab the remote and adjust it to what I like. It would be great if they offered a light switch "Remote" that can take the place of the wall switch and handle simple on-off use as well as color temp / brightness. Perhaps some presets? I noticed a few reviews that talked about using this light with a wall light switch, I was a little apprehensive when I read that it would default back to the brightness/light color settings. I really didn't want to have to use the remote every time I turned the light on. But my experience is that after installing it and using the remote to select the brightness and color, I turned it off with the remote and them back on with the remote. Since that point, the wall switch works perfectly, the settings are just as I left them, no need to use the remote. Installation was very easy, the small base plate was a breeze and then attaching the main light took just seconds. Highly recommend this light. ... show more

Really enjoy these. Only odd feature is the light doesn't save the dimmer or warmth changes if you use the switch, only remembers your changes when using the remote not a big deal but is a bit annoying.

    • Installation video is not for 24" fixture we got

The wires are attached to the large part of the fixture not to the small bracket as shown in the video. This makes the installation much more difficult and really requires two people. Not sure we would have bought the fixture if the installation instructions has been correct.

Only thing I'd mention is that at low light, the color doesn't change much. I assume this is because there aren't enough LEDs lit to do it. But it's still a bummer. The media could not be loaded. This cool giant light has some decent feature like the ability to be dimmed and a remote control. The remote and adjustable features make it easy to customize the amount of light in any room. The slim flat panel lights provide ample illumination while maintaining an unobtrusive presence that won't detract from your décor. We stuck it in the basement but I think this ceiling light is perfect for any room like bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and dining rooms. It's made of durable materials and comes with a three year warranty. Installation is also simple enough that most homeowners can complete it themselves without the need for professional help especially if you are putting it in the place of an existing light and the wiring is already done.
