This was a little tricky to install, but some decent youtube searching gave me a decent idea how to do it. It turned out pretty good. I have had them for a week and it prevents so much heat from entering my house. The single pane nightmare is over! It is also really nice to have the privacy tint. It looks really good. A minor note the tint kind of darkens the house with natural light, but that is what you trade. House still gets plenty of light. Overall I have zero complaints about it. Make sure you buy an extra roll and watch a few YouTube videos. Good luck.

I was in the venture of tinting my doors and window. So I decided to originally buy the BLACK SILVER of this same brand and from this same seller. The black silver was beautiful. It gave enought coverage. The material was thin and sticky, so you really have to be careful and patient to work with that kind of material. However, my only problem with it was it was too dark in the afternoon, and at night time. It really darkened the rooms too much to my liking. So, I decided to go with one shade brighter. After doing my research I came the conclusion that this specific brand and seller offered 3 levels of the SILVER color: - Black Silver (DARK) - Regular Silver (MEDIUM) - Clear (LIGHT) Based on this, I assumed regular SILVER would be okay. Right after opening it, I noticed the material was different. It was much thicker than the black silver. It was sort of thick PVC plastic tint. I also noticed it really didn't offer any coverage in the tint color. Lastly, after applying it to the window, it made the view look blurry from inside of the house. The photos here are of the SILVER option. I ended up returning it. And bought the CLEAR. It turns out that the CLEAR was the same material type as the BLACK SILVER but a shade lighter, which is the option I will be keeping. The clear is beautiful. Enough blockage with just the right amount of light coming in, and enought night time visibility. My only problem with the clear is that they only make it in 30" width rolls. Wish they offered it in 36" width. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE SILVER 36" INCHES WIDE X 50' FT ROLL.

Was quoted $900 to tint 10 windows in my house. Figured $60 for 26 feet was worth me trying myself and would allow me to make some mistakes. And while I did have to redo one window I still have leftover material and 10 pretty nicely tinted windows. Definitely found that having a second person to help hold the tint or respray the window/film while positioning makes a huge difference in getting the film up. It’s very sticky, especially if it folds over on itself, but I’d give it a 6/10 on difficulty to install as long as you have patience. No more glare on my tv, no more people looking in my windows as they walk by my corner lot house, definitely keeps my rooms cooler from the direct sunlight that was heating it up. Super impressed with the quality and function of this “bargain” tint.

Tint is nice, came packaged well. Came with tools to install "Beware"! The spatula or plastic piece it came with. It's meant to be used per instructions to squeeze water, air, any bubble from under the film. Problem is, it's a crappy tool, and damages your tint. Finishing this with the plastic spatula leaves visible scars in the tint. I used A LOT of water to install, as the instructions suggested. Didn't matter. I'm surprised they want to include the with a product if it damages the product. I only did 1 window so far. I'm gonna go buy better tools to complete the job. My advise is, don't use the equipment they provide. The knife included is cool, but goes dull fast, difficult to break off to refresh tip. Just use better blades and a better knife. This product would be better if they provided nothing but the tint. Let someone screw it up with their on cheap supplies, not what you provide with customers expectations being a great application using what you provide.

i've tinted a few windows - but this was really weird. The first attempt at a full slider glass panel was total failure. The color-tint part... actually stuck to the backing NOT the thicker tint part. the other two panels went up fine and peeled off backing just fine. HINT: Do sliders in two parts, with a horizontal seam to mate in middle, yes you see it, but it will go up in ten minutes. HINT2: Unroll it very carefully --- we tried to not crease fold or touch the film prior to installation but the film still had creases that showed up in pictures 2 & 3. Picture one shows the two BACKINGS,,, upper left was fine and clear/Upper right was COLORED and peeled color off the product. I lost 9 feet of it to this product error

The film is thick, very dark, darker than expected but it’s amazing if you need to block heat or want privacy. From the outside at night it is difficult to see in unless a lot of light is in near the window. During the day the windows are black from the outside. I had to put my face in the window to see the outline of my frame. It is a little warped in places and learning the produce takes practice and patience. Due to the price I felt comfortable buying and learning with it. My mistakes will be acceptable to me until the 100’s have passed then I’ll do it cleaner.
