  • It works great!!!
It works great. Did 21 the first time and 20 hatched. Got 31 in now.

  • Good Product, loud alarm.
Ive been running the incubator for about 20 hours now and it holds temp very well. Using a separate thermometer, heat stayed within a degree of the desired setting. Humidity on the other hand is a different story. I set my humidity at 40% for all my hatches. Humidity got as low as 22% and as high as 63% and was bouncing up and down all night. If you dont get it back to within 10% of your desired setting, it will beep until you turn it off. It was very easy to unpack and set up. Plug and play. Adjust the settings and you're all set. Run it for 24 hours with a separate hygrometer to ensure proper temps and humidity. When on and running it is very quiet (minus the alarm). Functions very well. The design is good. The shape make it pretty easy to find a place for it. Says meant for 48 chicken eggs but I probably wont put more than 36 in it. For less than $100 it seems like a pretty good deal. We'll see after my first hatch. ... show more

  • This works perfectly!
This worked just like it says! The chicks are hatched and thriving. So glad I found it. Super easy to use, easy to set up and the best part, works like a charm.

  • Bigger, better, and more stable, so far. . .
I got this be cause we have had two other incubaters, but they both stopped working after three uses. I was hoping this one would be different and it has been, so far. This is a bigger incubator than the other two we've had, holding 48 chicken eggs instead of 18. It seems to be stable and has been working well. We currently have it filled for the fourth time and although it's working, on our second time using it, the incubater humidity alarm began to sound, saying the humidity wasn't right. My son checked the humidity with a gadget that he has to do that with, unrelated to this incubater, and it was fine. Occasionally, the humidity indicatet still goes off, but when he checks it, it is fine. We have filled this incubater three other times, once with 40 eggs and the other two times with 48 eggs. Our hatch ratio is very good. The first time, we got 38 chicks, the second 47 hatched, the third time, we got 41 chicks. This is our fourth group of eggs and their hatch date is not for another 8 days, I believe. This incubater seems to be fine, and working well, and seems to be more stable, other than the humidity alarm randomly going off, occasionally. I'm apprehensive though, because we've had such trouble with the others we've gotten. It doesn't seem to be the incubaters, themselves. It's the electrical cord or battery pack that comes with them. They just don't seem to hold up past the second full round of incubation, pooping out on us during the third time and though we try to save the eggs, we have lost more than 50% of them. It's easy to use, and easy to clean to get ready for the next round of eggs. We are going to buy a second one of this model incubater, but right now, were working on getting another brooder box with a heating source to keep these once they hatch. Thanks for reading. Have a blessed day ! 🤗 ... show more

  • Smart Egg Incubator Takes the Work Out of Hatching Chicks
This smart incubator does everything from monitoring temperature and humidity to turning eggs and even brooding the chicks after they hatch. It's designed to incubate eggs of several other bird species also. It sets the number of days for incubation depending on the species — 21 for chickens (the only ones I've incubated), but others range from 17 days for quail eggs to 30 days for goose eggs. It turns the eggs automatically and stops turning during the last three days of the cycle (for chickens). The temperature for incubation is the same for all six species listed (chicken, quail, duck, pigeon, goose and parrot), but during the hatching phase the humidity and temperature differ. I'm impressed that these conditions can be set and handled automatically. Although everything is automated, it's still important to make sure the humidity level is correct. Occasionally, it might be necessary to add more water, but the design of the incubator lets you do this easily, without needing to open it. The incubator is well built, well designed, and came packaged securely to prevent damage. I expect it to last through many incubation cycles and many years to come. It has great educational value and the miracle of watching development from egg to chick never gets old. A wonderful gift for anyone who has space to house chickens (or whatever bird species they're incubating). Highly Recommend. ... show more

  • Feature rich large incubator with automatic turning and humidity control
This large egg incubator has a lot of great features and has been easy to customize. It includes automatic egg turning and automatically stops turning for lockdown, which is very convenient. All of the settings are adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune temperature, humidity, and turning to your needs. The mechanical humidity adjuster is a nice feature—it feeds water directly into a sponge at the top of the incubator, making humidity control simple. There are also two additional water tanks underneath to help ensure adequate humidity during hatching. I also appreciate that the incubator includes a built-in candling light, which is handy and eliminates the need for a separate tool. One odd issue I’ve noticed is that my eggs tend to slowly roll toward one end of the incubator and bunch up there over time. I’m still waiting on my first hatch, so I don’t yet know if this will affect hatch rates. For now, I simply reposition the eggs back to the center about once a week. Another thing to be aware of is noise. The fan produces a deep, low hum that could be bothersome in a very quiet room, and the humidity adjuster makes a soft squeaking sound. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend placing the incubator in a bedroom or anywhere someone is trying to sleep. Overall, this is a well-equipped incubator with excellent features and flexibility. With a few quirks to be aware of, it offers a lot of functionality for larger hatches. ... show more
