This smart incubator does everything from monitoring temperature and humidity to turning eggs and even brooding the chicks after they hatch. It's designed to incubate eggs of several other bird species also. It sets the number of days for incubation depending on the species — 21 for chickens (the only ones I've incubated), but others range from 17 days for quail eggs to 30 days for goose eggs. It turns the eggs automatically and stops turning during the last three days of the cycle (for chickens). The temperature for incubation is the same for all six species listed (chicken, quail, duck, pigeon, goose and parrot), but during the hatching phase the humidity and temperature differ. I'm impressed that these conditions can be set and handled automatically. Although everything is automated, it's still important to make sure the humidity level is correct. Occasionally, it might be necessary to add more water, but the design of the incubator lets you do this easily, without needing to open it. The incubator is well built, well designed, and came packaged securely to prevent damage. I expect it to last through many incubation cycles and many years to come. It has great educational value and the miracle of watching development from egg to chick never gets old. A wonderful gift for anyone who has space to house chickens (or whatever bird species they're incubating). Highly Recommend.

This incubator holds the temp and humidity perfectly. I don’t have to get up in the middle of the night to refill it because it doesn’t it automatically and is really accurate. We hatched out 18 quail eggs as our test and it works so well. One star deducted because the lid not having a hinge or a ledge lets the chicks run free. But I will be using this as my first choice incubator moving forward,

Since this is my first incubator after many years I was very surprised at the new features and technology that this particular unit has. I lover that there is an "egg candeler light" to easily evaluate the progress and viability of any eggs. There are intuitive temperature controls and even a really convenient humidity control. The unit also has a nice egg turner integrated into the main control module. I have seen many of these over the years and feel that they are all a little lackluster. The clear exterior allows you to easily observe the eggs inside. If the temperature is having some fluctuations, you keep the included foam shipping pieces as additional insulation. I was really impressed with how quite this unit is as well. You can hear it, but compared to the old ones this is near silent. Speaking on the plastic that the unit is made from- the old units were Styrofoam and would seem to permeate with that very distinct smell that comes from hatching eggs. I don't think that this will be difficult to clean completely after each hatch. Overall, I would recommend this product. I think that the price point of $89.99 is reasonable for all the features that this has.

This Innvello 48 Egg incubator is a great quality and value for a relatively large incubator. Like similar style incubators, it is important to remember to keep the Styrofoam liner to help insulate the incubator and retain stable incubation temperatures while in use. The incubator is easy to set up and maintain throughout the hatching period. The automatic turner rolls the eggs back and forth at adjustable frequencies. The size of the egg channels is also highly adjustable from as small as quail eggs to larger duck or possibly goose eggs. The humidity can be controlled by adding water into the channels in the base of the incubator but can also be set up to automatically humidify using an external bottle and tubing setup. So far I have had good hatch results with quail, guinea fowl, and chicken eggs.

This 48-egg incubator is sturdy and easy to clean thanks to the two-piece design. The clear dome gives full visibility, and the capacity is great if you’re hatching bigger batches. Temperature, humidity, and auto-turning all work, and the dual vents help with airflow. The weak point is the water pump. It looks fancy, but I don’t see it holding up long-term. My previous incubator with this style of pump failed, and this one feels the same. Only one water bottle is included for the water pump, so the A/B channels don’t have a true backup if the pump quits. More moving parts means more maintenance. Large incubators also struggle with even temperature. It will hatch eggs, but the pump design brings extra risk and upkeep. I do have a serious problem with the pricing. This item is about $40 higher for Vine customers than it is for regular customers ($129 vs $89) , and that really bothers me. But my rating is based only on the product itself. It works, but the pump design brings extra risk and maintenance. With pretty much every incubator, save the foam, you will need it during cold weather.
