This was very easy to put together and durable. My dog easily broke out of the standard cheaper made crates. This one has been rock solid, love the double latch and the quality is amazing. Added in a bed and some extras, but so far great results and don’t have to worry about pup breaking out daily.

This is no flimsy crate and it's large enough for a full size Shepherd or Rottie to stand, sit, and lie down without being cramped. Unpacking it was a nice surprise as the sides just fold up for you to insert provided bolts to secure the sides in place; very little left to do to put the crate together right out of the box. It took only about 5 minutes! The create is no lightweight, so the heavy duty wheels are a great addition (2 lock), making it roll very nicely in any direction. You do need space for it. This large version is big enough that it doesn't easily fit through hallways/doorways, although it would be easy enough to dismantle the crate to reassemble it in another room. This crate is incredibly sturdy and has smooth welds with no sharp edges, and no flex at all in those bars. There is one mechanism that rotates to keep the full size plastic tray and full size wire floor in place until you turn it to easily slide either/both out for cleaning. The doorway is wide enough and tall enough to allow ease of entry/exit. (ADDL COMMENT: When open, the door can easily be lifted off the hinges if you'd like to not have door swing open/shut at times) The door opens all the way back against the crate. It's nice to have the entire top flip open as well for ease of adding bedding or removing toys rather than half-crawling inside to reach those items. There is some intended flex in the wire floor grate as the dog stands on it, but the bars underneath minimize this and don't compromise the strength of the crate. We are so pleased with this one-time purchase. The crate also arrived earlier than promised. (ADD'L COMMENT: It's an investment, yes. But it's the best on the market and we will never have to replace! We ordered a second crate to have in another part of the house. Our dog rests in it after training sessions. Large crate pads or dog beds fit well. Dog does not challenge openings or hinges on this style at all, unlike wire frame crates that have some flex on sides or doors. Great kennel! We got the 54/48/42/38 size which fits our mastiff/German shepherd mix with plenty of space for him to be comfortable, have food & water in the kennel, a bed and toys inside the kennel with plenty of room. Our dog is young & playful and very large (125 lbs) and is very destructive (chewing & digging) when bored or understimulated. He has not been able to harm or destroy the kennel at all. Even though he is potty trained and has not had any potty accidents in the kennel, It has 2 bottom trays at the bottom which are easily accessible for cleaning. The side door is large for him to enter/exit with ease and stays open and completely flat up against the cage when the kennel door isn't shut. The top doors also make it easy to change his food and water bowls without opening the cage's side door. The kennel shipped VERY quickly (sooner than the estimated arrival date) and is also very reasonably priced when compared to it's quality. The wheels on the cage function well and it's easily moveable with or without him inside of it. It took my husband about an hour to assemble by himself. Highly recommend this cage. ... show more

This is a very sturdy crate. Our 65lb male pit fits in it. He destroyed his last one. So his safety is a priority. My husband put it together quickly. We only regret we did not get a bigger one. Our dog can't sit up in it comfortably. So I messaged the seller and they quickly and fairly helped resolve our issue. Go a size up is my advice. Wow. Better than expected. When i took it out of the box , I was impressed with how professional of a product it was. the construction is sturdy and isnt cheap and very thoughtful on teardown and build up. they really thought about the customer. Assembly was a breeze. It literally just folds out with hinged ends. bolts lock each section in place. total assembly was lie 10 minutes.
