This is a high quality, sturdy, well constructed crate for a reasonable price. Support was excellent, promptly replacing a chipped tray. Instructions could be improved by demonstrating difference between front and back patterns. Trays go under the metal frame, so be prepared to buy a seperate mat to go over the metal mesh. Got one for a new rescue dog and then ended up purchasing a second one 2 weeks later for my other dog! Super easy to assemble, and I love that the top opens up! It makes it so much easier when I refresh the bedding to open the top. It is extremely solid and well built. My other dog is 60 lbs and now he has plenty of room to stand up and lay down. It is expensive with the shipping at about $180? But it’s totally worth it, I can’t see ever needing to replace them! So it’s a lot of money but only once. ... show more

This was very easy to put together and durable. My dog easily broke out of the standard cheaper made crates. This one has been rock solid, love the double latch and the quality is amazing. Added in a bed and some extras, but so far great results and don’t have to worry about pup breaking out daily.

This is a very sturdy crate. Our 65lb male pit fits in it. He destroyed his last one. So his safety is a priority. My husband put it together quickly. We only regret we did not get a bigger one. Our dog can't sit up in it comfortably. So I messaged the seller and they quickly and fairly helped resolve our issue. Go a size up is my advice. This is no flimsy crate and it's large enough for a full size Shepherd or Rottie to stand, sit, and lie down without being cramped. Unpacking it was a nice surprise as the sides just fold up for you to insert provided bolts to secure the sides in place; very little left to do to put the crate together right out of the box. It took only about 5 minutes! The create is no lightweight, so the heavy duty wheels are a great addition (2 lock), making it roll very nicely in any direction. You do need space for it. This large version is big enough that it doesn't easily fit through hallways/doorways, although it would be easy enough to dismantle the crate to reassemble it in another room. This crate is incredibly sturdy and has smooth welds with no sharp edges, and no flex at all in those bars. There is one mechanism that rotates to keep the full size plastic tray and full size wire floor in place until you turn it to easily slide either/both out for cleaning. The doorway is wide enough and tall enough to allow ease of entry/exit. (ADDL COMMENT: When open, the door can easily be lifted off the hinges if you'd like to not have door swing open/shut at times) The door opens all the way back against the crate. It's nice to have the entire top flip open as well for ease of adding bedding or removing toys rather than half-crawling inside to reach those items. There is some intended flex in the wire floor grate as the dog stands on it, but the bars underneath minimize this and don't compromise the strength of the crate. We are so pleased with this one-time purchase. The crate also arrived earlier than promised. (ADD'L COMMENT: It's an investment, yes. But it's the best on the market and we will never have to replace! We ordered a second crate to have in another part of the house. Our dog rests in it after training sessions. Large crate pads or dog beds fit well. Dog does not challenge openings or hinges on this style at all, unlike wire frame crates that have some flex on sides or doors. Solid one, thing that I always see is the dogs laying in crates, not standing. So, I'm posting pics of my 2 year old Doberman in crate in all positions. He's 90lbs. 28 in. tall on back and 32 in. up head with 39 in. long. Standing hind legs 5 ft. Great price, rolls, which locks, large has head room and legs. He was in a 48 in one that his head rubbed the top and paws were folded tight to body to lay. Grew out of now our medium size pup and him moved up to full size. The medium size was in a Xlarge Walmart crate. He too out grew up, now both in seventh heaven. Came with 1 extra bolt, nut, hex screw. Heavy, did use a extra wrench to tighten bolts.
