I would give these 5 stars, but the app is only letting me do 4. These are so fun. Our family takes them out in the day and early twilight. They make a whistling noise and can do quite far if you don’t fold the fins. If you do fold the fins it’s fun to watch them twirl like a helicopter. They each have a little light which is great for evening launches. Perfect for 4th of July fun!! The rocket and sling shot launcher match color, so that helps eliminate arguments with our kids. They work but younger kids have trouble getting a good launch. Lining up the gap in the slingshot is a bit tricky.

    • Kids love these, it is a staple for events at night with kids!
We have bought these multiple times. They have an 'on' 'off' button to turn the lights on or off. They are pretty easy to use a four-year-old up can manage them pretty well. You do have to fold down the tails of each rocket so that they spin down, if you don't they will just fall down pretty fast. I know of families that keep these and take them on trips. We are not so gentle on ours and I usually give each kid that comes over two or three to play with and take home. Our problem is if the kids forget to turn them off the batteries die fairly fast. And sometimes the rubber bands break or they break on a hard landing. I would recommend over grass and not pavement. Our friends say they always take the to the beach so that is an idea! ... show more

    • Good enough for little ones who don't know any better
While it was nice that each copter came with its own launcher, that wasn't necessary. The tails on the copters don't hold their shape (you need to bend each one in 2 different spots) so they don't fly very high or spin on the way down very well. All in all, my 5 year old niece enjoyed herself, regardless. ... show more

Kids and adults alike enjoy it. Great for those lazy evenings outdoors. They look like little fireworks in the sky and make a whistling sound. Not all of the units are perfect, but most are great. And the price is low enough that I ordered a second package.

Gave these to 6 of my grandkids for a fun activity while they were here for Easter. Age range from 4 to 13 & they all thought they were fun. We waited until it was getting dark & turned on the flashing lights & had a contest to see who could fly farthest & highest. So fun! We did have 1 that the light didn't work but with 12 in the package we had extras. Knowing how inexpensive they were i expected it to be a 1 use thing but they all took 1 home when they left. We did trade some out but from 12 we had 6 still working after 2 long play times with them. They served our purpose well but get extras. A huge hit with my nieces and nephews, ages 4-10. A bit difficult to assemble as no instructions are included, but once you figure it out, they're a great time. I appreciate that extra "wings" are included in the package, as they are the least durable part of the whole setup. Plastic wings broke on 1st flight every time. Quite a disappointment for the kids! I know they are just plastic but we had some of these that we bought at a store a few years ago and they1re still working!
