I had a 12 yr old Frigidaire, top of the line. It was very hot when it was running, which was a plus in the winter, not so much in the summer, and awkward to empty. I used it until I purchased this. I have read the reviews and am amazed at all the different perspectives. My views are based on the comparison between what I have been using for all these years, in the South. Last night at 7:30 PM is was 93 degrees outside. The humidity and the temperatures are off the charts, but I think we better get used to this, and prepare. High heat and humidity makes for a very oppressive day and night. Tough to be able to sleep, restfully. Family/Friend/kids groups are becoming grumpy. The Energy Star Aeocky is a beautiful, quiet, machine. Made with 50% recycled material, maintains Global Recycled Standards. Easy to unpack & install, and rolls easily. Maintains the humidity level that I decide consistently. The sound is minimal, does not interfere with other activities. The bucket is easy to remove, empty and replace. The higher the humidity the more often you have empty it. Energy use. Your AC works overtime in high humidity conditions. Adding the Energy Star Aeocky to your home will help reduce that power drain. The Energy Star Aeocky uses 4 amps. The smallest window AC uses 15 amps and can barely keep one 100 sq ft room cool. If you have whole house system, the electric usage is much larger. The Energy Star Aeocky keeps a 1500 sq ft building dry, using 4 amps. I live outside of Jacksonville, FL. We have been dealing with 90+ degrees for months. I waited a month to share my review to be able to check my electric bill. Here we can look at the daily usage. My bill did not show any increases from the day I started using the Energy Star Aeocky, which was for the last 20 days of my bill. I was able to set and maintain my humidity levels, and also set my AC @ 77 degrees 24/7. It changed everything. I can sleep. Better sleep quality is important at any age, and this helps. At night I sometimes lowered the temp in my bedroom to 76 degrees. My house is now more comfortable. This will also change winter comfort. The wind and the rain in 45-55 degrees with 90+ humidity is just as tough on the heating system; maintaining the humidity level is just as important. A dehumidifier lowers energy costs all year because it helps your air conditioner/heating system run more efficiently. With an Energy Star 2025 rating, it’s using less power than my old unit while running smoother and cooler. Customer Service: I used the email link and had immediate response. I did it just to see because of the negative review I read about customer service. Some of the negative reviews really make me wonder who is really writing those things.

Removes massive volume of water from the air
I installed one of these units in my walkout basement, which faces the Pacific Ocean. The room often feels stuffy and humid, and the unit removes a remarkable amount of moisture from the air every day. Although the water tank holds about a gallon, I frequently have to empty it more than once a day. To avoid the hassle of constantly emptying the tank, I decided to use the unit’s drainage hose feature. I ran the hose through a half-inch hole I drilled in the drywall into a subfloor storage area, where I connected it to a Little Giant pump. As the pump’s reservoir fills, the pump automatically activates and sends the accumulated water about 10 feet up to a PVC pipe that leads to a drain. This dehumidifier works very well and is relatively quiet. I recommend it.

Excellent Customer Service
This dehumidifier was doing a great job keeping the humidity in my large basement low. After about 10-11 months it developed a problem and was no longer able to keep up with the humidity. It was still under warranty, so I contacted Aeocky. They responded promptly and asked me to do a little diagnostic test and give them the results. They agreed it was not performing as designed. So they offered to send me an upgraded version of this unit at no cost to me. They did not require that I send the old unit back and since my old unit was near the end of the warranty period, they extended that. I could not be more pleased with the new unit. It does an amazing job, even during almost two weeks of near constant rain.

Satisfied with it
Been using this almost nonstop since July and it works well. On the plus side, it's very quiet and not in the way. On the downside, the water tank is heavy when it's full. You have to be physically strong to lift it up out of the unit and empty the water into the sink.

Effective Dehumidifier With Strong Warranty That is Honored!!
I purchased an Aeocky dehumidifier about a year ago, and unfortunately, the original unit stopped working after roughly one year of use. I contacted Aeocky customer support, and I was very pleased with how they handled the situation. They took the time to help me troubleshoot the issue, but unfortunately, the troubleshooting didn’t resolve the problem. Since Aeocky backs their units with a 3-year warranty, they honored that warranty and promptly offered to replace the unit. The replacement was arranged quickly and without any hassle or unnecessary back-and-forth. The replacement dehumidifier is working well so far. I really like the size - it’s compact enough to fit nicely in my space while still doing the job effectively. It’s also reasonably priced, making it a good value for the money. Of course, having the original unit fail after a year was disappointing, but I appreciate that Aeocky stood behind its product and honored the warranty as promised. A warranty is only as good as the company’s willingness to stand behind it, and in my experience, Aeocky did exactly that. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the replacement unit and especially with Aeocky’s customer care and after-sales support. The combination of a practical size, reasonable price, and responsive warranty support makes this a product I’m happy to recommend. Thank you, Aeocky, for taking care of your customers and standing behind your products! 👍 P.S. I’ll update this review if the replacement has any issues down the road, but hopefully that won’t be necessary! 🤞

This dehumifier works well and is at a good price.
It is enlightening to find a company that stands behind their product. We have purchased several well-known company made dehumidifiers in the past that have failed on us in the past within a short time. Then we found AEOCKY, who definitely is proud of their product and wants to satisfy their customers. The first one we ordered from Amazon was delivered upside down and had problems from the first time we operated it even though we turned it right side up for 24 hours before starting it up. We notified AEOCKY and they had us go through several procedures to no avail. Then they said they would replace it with a new one which arrived and is now working very well. They even sent us a follow-up message asking if everything was working ok. This company is A-OK in our estimation. They even carry a better warranty than most companies and price that is better for their quiet product.

Works extremely well!
This is the second dehumidifier I purchased this year. The last one I ordered from a different seller didn’t lower my humidity hardly at all. My basement humidity was 65-70 before purchasing that one. It got me down to 60%. This one here from this seller, was able to get my humidity level down to less than 50%. It’s a good size, has been running for over a month now with no issues. It’s as loud as you would expect from a humidifier. It’s easy to use and I have a drain hose running from it to my sump pit so I don’t have to mess with emptying the tank. As far as controls, set it and forget it. 10/10 Would recommend.
