Best dehumidifier I ever purchased. Quite, uses less electricity, and gets the job done. pulls out 5-6 quarts of water in 12-13 hours run time in a furnished basement. I put mine on in am.. set for 12 hours and by night the tank is full. I have a second unit , same mfgr. in laundry area, an d that one I can use the drain hose which makes it doubly convenient. This is a great product. It is quiet and does its job extremely well. Small drawback is the collection bucket is a little smaller than many other dehumidifiers this size, but it makes up for it by easy of use. Buy it based on the performance alone. But that is not why I am writing. The compressor died after a year. I contacted the customer service via email. They promptly responded and gave me a few simple tests to do ( to generate error codes etc.). I emailed back the results and they agreed the compressor was dead. So the simply sent me a new unit. Not only that, they extended the warranty by 2 months. I can not say enough about this customer service. Quick easy service. Brand new dehumidifier in about 3 days. Extended warranty. It was fantastic. Absolutely great to deal with. I would absolutely by from Aeocky again!

Unit works well and is quiet. There are various operating options to meet people’s needs. This unit has made my finished basement much more comfortable. Update. After 1 year I had an issue with the unit not dehumidifying. I contacted customer support. They were outstanding. They had me run a couple of simple tests to confirm the issue. They determined a replacement unit was best vs a repair. They quickly sent a replacement unit and even extended my warranty. Great customer service.

The Aeocky dehumidifier is a dependable unit that reduces humidity in my 2000SF space consistently. But you have to know its limiatation and can work with them. As in all dehumidifers marketed in the Amazon, their stated perfromance capacity is based on operating in a 95℉, 95%RH space. It's performance in a livable space, like 60F and 80% RH, will be down by 40%.. Some units show their performance spec based on room temperature and humidity in their user manual, some unit show in a lable pasted to the unit. The Aeocky unit stated performance is 74 pints per day. In the three weeks I have been using it in my enclosed living space, air conditioned at 77F, with outside humidity at 70% - 80%, it consistently collects 46 pints a day, reducing the humidity to around 55%, but not lower. When I expressed my concern to Aeocky, their customer service responded promptly, explaining that " ........it is a known limitation of compressor dehumidifiers across the industry and not a defect. Achieving a humidity below 55% usually requires a warmer environment (normally 75°F or higher), where the temperature gradient between room temp and the chilled evaporating coil inside the unit is larger, condensation can occur more effectively........ " Everyday I recorded the humidity in the room before starting up the unit, and when it was turned off. It did consistently does the job, collecting around 46 pints a day and lowering the space's humidity to around 55%. The unit is well designed, very easy to move around, very easy to empty the tank manually, and it operates very quietly. In addition, Aeocky's Customer Service should be commended. They do an exceptional job in listening to the customer and providing clear and precise responses. They go out of their way to make the customer happy. Though the unit has its own limitation, but it works in my environment. I end up keeping the unit instead of returning it. And, I would recommend it to other users.

Works great best investment and a must have for Florida homes.Honestly i was ready to purchase a new ac system because the central Ac was not able to keep up with the set temperature in the depth of the summer and by late afternoon it felt muggy inside and very humid in the master bathroom that is located the farthest in the house .The home is just under 2200 sq so yes it works and gets the job done with the help of the central ac fan.The noise level even during on the highest fan level is noticabl with daily activities .I keep mine in the living kitchen and dining area that is pretty much open and the biggest space.Also I have to mention that this is the second day that i have been using it and i have a separate portable ac in the master bedroom and the second night not once i had to turn it on because it was very comfortable to sleep and that is huge to me.HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !

This is an early review but this is a very nice dehumidifier. Hands down the quietest one I’ve ever owned!. It knocked down the moisture level in my basement right away. It has 3 fan speeds and on low you can barely hear it, even on high(3) it’s still not loud!. Hopefully it lasts as long as my old one that lasted a long time. Hook up for the drain hose that came with this unit was a breeze to hook up compared to using the garden hose type which was always a pain to do. And for the weight of the unit - its actually half as heavy as my old one so it was easy to carry!. As for my people at Amazon- when the box that units like these are already packed in for sale say” DO NOT REPACK” then please do not put into a big Amazon box!!! Why you ask. This type of machine is not suppose to be placed on its side, upside down or on its side!!. If it’s in a big blank box UPS and FedEx move it around and it ends up in every which way. There is special fluids and oils in these and needs to stay right side up!. If you find it’s been sitting wrong for shipping you have to leave it sit for 24 or more hours to allow these fluids to run back where they belong!. If you started it up after it arrives and those fluids aren’t where they belong the unit will probably be damaged and its life span will more than likely be very short lived!. Buyer be ware Incase this has been shipped in any way up upright like it belongs. Still best to wait 24 hours before you run just in case!.

So far so good. Easy setup, works great, good size bucket. The only issue was delivery. Manufactures box clearly shows top and bottom and needs to stay upright. But came inside oversized amazon box so it could bounce around and it was sitting upside down inside the Amazon box on my porch. Amazon box does not show arrows for “this side up”. This can affect operation. And tape was not holding Amazon box closed.
