So many buy the smaller cheaper models. I bought the big one! Huge 1.75 gallon tank. This unit sucks water our of the air like crazy! It's nice and quiet too! My osilating fan is louder than this big dehumidifier is. I'm glad I spent the extra money and got the big unit. So far... WORTH EVERY CENT!

Takes a LOT of humidity out of my house! I live in the southeast US where humidity is high. This was a replacement machine. The company previously shipped an older model. I have tried all modes and they all work as described! The instruction manual is a little lacking. There is no step-by-step, but a great description of the indicators. I just hit the power button and tried out each function. It really is not difficult to figure out even if you never used a dehumidifier before. The hose in the box is a little flimsy. May want to go get something sturdier if you are using continuous drainage. I believe they have improved the tank. It comes with a lid to prevent spilling. When I received the first machine, the indicators were not the same as what was described on this site or the box. It was very confusing. Amazon took care of communicating with the shipper and the manufacturer emailed me. Problem was solved quickly! The current machine is exactly as described and works even better! I would definitelt recommend this dehumidifier!

Everything was excellent, except that the drain hose did not work, so the unit filled up and I had to empty it. I discovered that when it was tipped slightly forward, the water all drained into the unit. When I put something under the front of the unit to raise it about half an inch, it was tipped slightly backward, and the water drained into the drain hose. The unit now works perfectly. It is quiet, removes a lot of water, and displays the humidity level. My only complaint is that I could not find anywhere in the documentation where it stated how many amps of power it draws. I need to know this because I have a limited electrical circuit in my boat where I use it.

This dehumidifier worked great, but after less than two years, it froze up due to a bad compressor. I expected more for the price. I am so disappointed not only because I have to spend quite a bit of money on a new one, but because it is just another poorly made appliance that will end up in a landfill. Update: Customer service was actually very helpful and replaced the unit within 1 1/2 weeks because we were still within the two-year warranty.

This unit is very well made and is not noisy at all. The only complaint I have is the built in pail is to small, I have to dump it about every two days sometimes sooner. And no handle to carry it, wouldn't take much to have an accident and make a big mess. If you will be using the drain hose then no problem. Otherwise a very good machine.

I have one and it works great in my smaller RV. But I just bought a big RV and I ordered another one because I want as much humidity out of there as possible, living on the coast. They work incredibly well. I have to drain it much more often than I thought because they suck so humidity out of the air that I had to get used to emptying it every two days.
