NOTE: this was a test setup, final installation will be this spring. This seems to be a nice enough winch with a good wireless remote included - handy when you need to be out of the danger zone... It draws about 18 amps with no weight load, so note that it will drain your little ATV battery pretty fast (upgrade the size as a suggestion). The 'cable' is a 3/8 ish rope - so unless it's Kevlar I don't believe the 4500 pound rating. Also note that continuous weathering in the sunshine will kill the strength of the 'cable'. Might want a cover. The speed is not super fast, somewhat faster taking in cable than reverse direction feeding it out (note that you can free-wheel the spool and hand pull out cable). Not too loud while operating. The manual has some mistakes, including describing the cable as 'wire rope' - there's no wire, I checked. Oh - you will want terminal grease, not provided, for assembly. Use it on all connections and the boots. Price seems good to me. ... show more

This 3500 lb capacity electric winch is really a great deal for the price. One of the features that I like the best is the wireless remote control. Now keep in mind it will take a little bit of work to put on your vehicle but it’s not overly complicated. Really a great buy and I may be looking at purchasing a second one for my other ATV. ... show more
