This fireplace is exactly what I wanted. It arrived when expected with everything perfectly protected. Assembly took a little while, but all pieces were marked and after sorting them out and laying everything out, following the directions in the instruction manual was very simple and clear cut for myself, my daughter and my 16 year old granddaughter to put together. My granddaughter is legally blind, and through touch and verbal instruction, she contributed about 1/3 of the labor. It’s a beautiful, functional piece of furniture that definitely qualifies as the focal point of the room, which is a master bedroom converted into a cozy sitting room. It’s very sturdy, and keeps the room nice and toasty, giving off a comforting glow from the flickering “flame”. Absolutely no buyers remorse here; 100% satisfaction.

We absolutely love this fireplace! My husband assembled it entirely by himself. Since all of the pieces came separate, it did take most of the day to put together, but the process was very straightforward—almost like an adult LEGO set. It is honestly so beautiful, and the heat works great. We especially love turning on the flame feature. There is a slight ticking noise, but it isn’t bad at all and seems normal for electric heaters. We previously had one from Walmart that was much louder, so this is hardly noticeable in comparison. We purchased the large mantel, and it is the perfect size for our home. It fits the wall beautifully and is easy to move around if needed. This has easily been one of the best purchases we’ve made for our house—it really ties everything together decor-wise. I would highly recommend this fireplace if you don’t want one of the typical 3-foot-high options and are looking to add character and warmth to your home.

Be prepared for a minimum of 6-8 hours assembly time. Add 24 hrs if you end up gluing the shelving into place like I did (glue dry time). I used clear gorilla glue and glued & clamped the shelves to their side panels (not to the fireplace panels). *Make sure that you have a cordless screwdriver to put this together. There are over 150 screws plus 148 screw cams plus 148 screw cam bolts to install!! Be CAREFUL when installing the screw cam bolts - do not over tighten as they well pull out of the particle board! When tightening the screw cams onto the screw cam bolts - I suggest doing them by hand so that you do not over tighten them and pull the whole assembly out and bend the cam bolts! *Do NOT remove the numbers from the boards as you put it together! The directions will reference them later on after you put different assemblies together. I learned this the hard way - especially on the two side bases that go under the shelving pieces. There is a right side and a left side and the numbers correspond to right and left but the directions do not mention left and right. The quality of this fireplace shelving unit is outstanding. I wish that the directions were clearer as to right side and left sides of different assemblies, but if you pay very close attention to the directions and do not remove the numbers from the boards as you go - you will be fine. There is a discrepancy in the directions for installing the fireplace and birdcage front. The directions that are in the box for the fireplace unit and birdcage reference using (5) hex screws and (5) washers and a hex wrench. None of these are included with the fireplace unit. Rather - there are (5) part J screws that came with the shelving unit. They are black and are M6x30MM. My pictures will give you a better understanding. After I was done putting the last screw in - I stood back and was amazed at the beauty of this unit. My wife was doubly surprised! The remote - read the directions that came with the fireplace unit as to how to program the default temp. You can NOT adjust the temp with the up down buttons on the remote! You can change it to what temp you would like by programming the remote. The heat output and fan output are terrific. I set it for 72 deg f. You can change the brightness of the flame as well. I will say that I had to be about feet away from the fireplace for the remote to work. You will want to be sitting down when you are programming the remote - so that you can see the temp display on the fireplace. You can NOT see it from a standing position. This unit is long at 78" but it fit perfectly on our living room wall. I am so happy with our purchase. I would have giving it 5 stars, but I had to do some gluing and clamping.

The quality is over than I expected. It’s very heavy and the mirror/fire looks great. It took two hours from opening the box, to clean up, for me to assemble it by myself. It is heavy so it is better for two people. It is very quiet, the remote works from far away. The color matches Sherman Williams Ultra Pure White, so it matches my trim nicely. Great buy.

Stunning fireplace/mantle! We absolutely love it. It has changed the feel of our bedroom. I searched for the perfect one for what seems like days and this was it. The birdcage design is so elegant and it is so nicely made. The remote is pretty low tech and I didn’t realize I needed to set to a default setting. Also didn’t even see the temperature controls on the actual unit so no issues/concerns. But honestly, this unit is so beautiful that I wouldn’t even care if the fireplace didn’t work.
