  • 7 grits but only 6 shafts
I like the product, they work great for polishing silver jewelry. There are 7 grits, but only 6 shafts. I sent an email to the seller asking why. This is their reply: “Hello, these shafts can be reused. After removing the polished disk, you can install a new disk.” I took off a star for lack of convenience . I ended up buying an additional shaft at a local store for $2. Add that to the price of this product. ... show more

  • Cuts Well if Properly Oriented
These abrasive discs work perfectly if they're properly mounted and used with a gentle touch. Using my Dremel tool on metal surfaces each wheel cuts at its rated grit, relative to its small size. Using increasingly more aggressive grits, I can quickly remove light corrosion from hard to reach areas inside and around raised metal lettering. (I'd really like to compare these with the more expensive product from 3M. It would be most interesting, I just don't want to afford the product.) It's hard for me to picture a more effective abrasive of this kind for the type of work I do. The only problem with my order was missing paper washer for mounting on both sides of the wheel on the mandrel--no biggie. Lastly, looking at the chuck head-on, my Dremel tool spins CCW. For me, that means if the abrasive wheel is mounted properly, the dimple on one side of the wheel won't be visible while looking at the tool from the chuck end. ... show more

  • Great for polishing without removing material.
These radial bristle discs are fantastic! These discs are perfect if you specifically need to polish without removing any material. I polish diecast and metal in places that have a lot of very small detailing in the casting and these disks can get into every crevice polish it out without removing any of the details. Also very versatile in that you can put 1 to 6 disks on a single mandrel depending on your coverage needs. 6 disks will give you a nice wide polishing area while 1 or 2 discs will get in very nicely to tight corners and edges. So far they also seem to wear very well. Very happy with this product. ... show more

  • plastic junk
I bought these to see how they work on my wood carvings. As soon as I sanded with them they fell apart. On closer exam, they look like they are made from plastic. After the third one crumbled I just gave up on them. Don't waste your money.

  • GREAT BUY
For the money you can’t beat these radials! I do realize that there are very well known brands of these that I am sure are much better but these do get the job done! Some of those cost over $50 for just a few disks!

  • does not last
I read the description for this kit thinking it was perfect for the kitchen cabinets refurbishment project , however i tried several brushes with my Dremel hoping the smaller cross section would work well with the molding cross section . the brushes broke down very quickly and came apart in seconds (using them in the correct rotary direction of course). i do not recommend them for this purpose and did return them right away . • Very impressive 👍.
I was very impressed. A plastic disc? Ha! I used them to polish a stone! Not alot of shaping with them but they definitely are worth the money. I haven't wore any out yet. Con: 7 grits and only 6 mandrels. But if your like me, there were a couple of spares in the box!

  • Not good for furniture refinishing
Using these to sand detail areas of a coffee table they fly apart the second I touch them to the wood. They may work well polishing but I purchased them to take my coffee table back down to bare wood so that I could stain it. They are useless for this purpose. To be clear my intent is to only use them on the intricate detail sections of the table where a small sanding block does not reach. ... show more
