Waterproof membrane banding. Where would we be without it? We'd be in a moldy mess of horrible soggy wood, that's where we would be! Does anyone want to be there? No, no they do not want to be there. When you build something, you want it to last, not to degrade and decompose because the moisture barrier was inadequate. This here membrane is strong, durable, and appears to be doing a fine job at doing it's job! It goes on easy, and it stays where it should. Well made, strong. Recommended!

I ordered this in the 5" width which measures accurately and is clean on both sides (rather than having a grid on the backside). In person it is flesh-colored and porous (like a bandage) which gives it extra surface for adhesives. The sides are smooth and not prone to fray. To my surprise it's impossible to tear with my bare hands though it cuts with common scissors. Water readily pills when dumped on it and does not leak through to the other side.

This tape is easy to work with and adheres well to clean surfaces. The thickness gives it a solid, durable feel for sealing applications. Installation is straightforward, though surface prep is important for best results. Once applied, it creates a reliable barrier. Works well for general waterproofing needs. Good value.

It is a thick and wide roll to cover a big area. First thing I did after unpacking was to test how good its waterproofing is and it passed the test. I always concerned about the water seepage around the windows. I used it around one of the windows in the garden shed as a test case. It was easy to cut and it doesn't come with self-adhesive glue, so I had to use an adhesive tape. I think the idea is if water gets behind the siding, this membrane will whisk it away without dampening the interior wall behind it. Proof is in the pudding, fortunately now it is snow season, I can get a proof in a few days. I will update here if it fails in waterproofing the interior layers of the wall.

This is a roll of waterproof membrane 5" x 100 FT and 24Mils Thick. It's make of Polyethylene Fabric that is waterproof. Covers approximately 42 square feet. I ordered to patch a spot in a flat roof that has a slow leak during rain storms. So I am patching over an Elastomeric roof, gluing the membrane directly to the roof. Then I will seal with a water proof paint and re-coat with 2 coats of Elastomeric across the entire roof line in order to properly seal all of it, not just the leak. Brand LXVOOEE

This is a narrow (5-inch wide), thick (24 mil) polyethylene and fiber-reinforced membrane strip designed for sealing seams and corners in waterproofing installations. My review is based on testing its adhesion with thin-set mortar, its flexibility, and its waterproof integrity in a small mock-up. I will update after using it in a full shower pan installation to report on its long-term bond with tile, resistance to cracking at folds, and performance under real-world moisture exposure. The product serves a specific purpose well. It is extremely tough and flexible, making it ideal for lining inside corners (floor/wall junctions) and sealing butt joints between larger sheets of waterproofing board or membrane. The fibrous surface on both sides grabs thin-set mortar effectively, creating a solid bond for tile. The 5-inch width is practical for its intended use—it's not meant to cover large areas but to reinforce critical weak points. Cutting and handling are straightforward. In a water test, it formed an excellent barrier with no seepage. This is a professional-oriented accessory for a tile shower or wet room installation, used in conjunction with a liquid membrane or sheet membrane system. Initial Verdict: For a DIYer or professional building a shower to modern standards, this band is a high-quality, purpose-built product for achieving reliable seals at vulnerable points. Its value lies in its specialized role. The critical long-term factor is the integrity of the bond between the membrane, the mortar, and the tile over years of thermal expansion and contraction. I recently received this 5 inch by 100 foot waterproof membrane band roll and will be using it to seal membrane seams, butt joints, and floor to wall connections in the showers for our new coastal home build, and it is exactly what we needed. The 5 inch width is very practical and gives good coverage without needing multiple passes, and the roll length goes a very long way at 100 feet, which makes this an excellent value compared to higher priced name brand options. This does not rip easily which is important during installation. The material feels strong and flexible and does not tear easily when handled or embedded, which matters during installation. It bonds well with thin set mortar and lays flat with a thin profile, so it does not create buildup at seams. I tested a strip by placing water directly on it overnight and nothing came through, which told me what I needed to know. This performs like much more expensive membrane band without the cost. I am very pleased with the quality and performance and feel comfortable using this as part of our waterproofing system. I recommend this waterproof membrane band roll for shower installations and other areas where a reliable moisture barrier is needed.
