I’m very impressed with this ERAYAK 4500W dual-fuel inverter generator. The compact design makes it easy to move around, and it’s a great option for camping, RV use, or as a backup generator for the house. One of my favorite features is the dual-fuel capability with automatic fuel switching. I can run it on propane, and when the propane runs out, the generator automatically switches over to gasoline, so I don’t have to be there to manually change the fuel source. This is especially useful during a power outage when you want the generator to keep running without interruption. I'm not a professional or anything, but this is a damn good generator and I'm buying another one to go right next to it. It is still a little loud, but I've learned how to fix that. It stands up to its name. I cannot complain. I mean I love this generator right now. I'm refusing to use the electric company and right now. This generator is pulling its weight a little more than its weight. It hasn't bogged down works with propane. I am a kind of a perfectionist. When it comes to changing oil and everything like that, I just if you do that, right? You know, your tools will last. Take care of Em. They'll take care of you. And this damn generator is the best. I've run into in a long, long time. I expected a bunch of problems. Well, today's day and age, everything's made cheap. And then when I seen it with plastic, the casing, I panicked, but she pulled her white. I'm very happy i'm gonna do something about the damn loudness would be better off, but i'm grateful thank you ... show more

    • Worked at home, failed on the first day of our holiday, eventually, I got a full refund.

Our intent was to use this generator exclusively on propane, and we needed it to run an efficient (modern) 12,000 BTU air conditioner. When it arrived, we tested it immediately and although the idle on propane was a bit rough, this was not unexpected. The air conditioner worked fine on a crazy-hot day, so I left it running for 4 hours. I did overload it a couple of times to see if could handle the a/c and other items, and it overloaded, but it was a quick reset/re-start after removing the load. On August 30th, we took off on our 12-day holiday (where we would need to generator 5 of the 12 days) and it overloaded the first time we tried the a/c. After that, the engine speed would not adjust under ANY load, and we haven't even been able to make coffee. Thankfully, it provides enough power at low-idle to recharge the RV battery, run the TV, and a couple of lights, but we could have done that with a $200 whisper-quiet generator. Update: September 26th First, the vendor promise a full refund. The refund never came. Then they wanted to send me a video link to see if a simple fix would work. I replied with my complete email address, got an unidentifiable phone call that looked like spam which went to my voicemail and they asked me for my email address again, so I called them back and went directly to voicemail and left my email address again. Now, twice back and forth, still no video link. Update: October 1st After not hearing from the technical people about a video link, I sent an email back to vendor, requesting the full refund. The refund was processed within 30 minutes ... show more

I bought the Erayak 4500 generator a little over three months ago mainly as a backup power source for storms and camping trips, and honestly it has been much better than I expected for the price. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to set up. It came mostly ready to go, and within about 15 minutes I had it running without any issues. What impressed me most is how surprisingly quiet it is compared to older generators I’ve owned. It’s obviously not silent, but the noise level is low enough that you can still have a conversation nearby without shouting. I’ve used it during a power outage to run a refrigerator, lights, fans, Wi-Fi router, and even charge multiple phones at the same time without problems. The fuel efficiency has also been solid. I expected to burn through gas quickly, but it actually lasted most of the night during one outage while powering essentials. The build quality feels sturdy and not cheap or flimsy like some generators in this price range. One thing I would improve is the wheel kit. It works fine, but moving it around on rough ground can still be a little awkward because of the weight. Other than that, I really don’t have many complaints. I mainly wanted a generator that wouldn’t feel like hauling around a small lawn tractor every time I needed backup power, and this one is surprisingly manageable. Getting it set up was straightforward, and the controls are laid out well enough that I didn’t have to keep checking the manual. I especially like having both gas and propane available because I usually keep a propane tank around and would rather not store a bunch of gasoline. It runs smoother and quieter than the older open-frame generator I’m used to, although I definitely wouldn’t call any generator silent. The power has been steady with the electronics I connected, and I appreciate having regular outlets along with USB connections right on the unit. Starting it hasn’t been complicated, and switching between fuel options is a genuinely useful feature rather than something I’ll never touch. At around 54 pounds, it can still be awkward for one person to carry any real distance, but moving it around the garage is reasonable. The compact shape also makes finding a storage spot much easier.
