We ordered the 42-light size in brown/black for our vaulted cathedral ceiling in our foyer and it is a stunner! It's beautiful and elegant and very large, perfect for a space like that. This is probably a $6,000 chandelier at least, but the tradeoff for the discounted price you pay is that it comes fully disassembled, and I mean FULLY! You have to wire the sections together and then fully assemble every component and every crystal. My husband knows how to wire, so the two of us working together put it together, but it took us a weekend. If you don't know wiring, you will need an electrician. But for us, it was well worth it and we can't say enough good things about it. It's very bright, so consider getting dimmable LED bulbs. ... show more

This chandelier (42 light in bread color) is beautiful but there were a couple of things to note: It took a full day to put together which is to be expected since it comes disassembled in a box. The wires for each light bulb are attached on the outside of the metal arms. The wires are black which doesn't blend at all with the gold color and looked terrible! To save the project, I applied gold rub'n buff to all the wires which turned out well. All the light bulb wires have to be bundled together with wire nuts and the nuts this came with were terrible with no threading. For $3 I went to the hardware store and bought some of the largest wire nuts with threading so it could actually grab the thick bundles. Also, it will help you twist all the wires together if you use wire strippers to take off about an inch more of the wire casing All that said, once we hung out up, it is so gorgeous! If you're looking for a chandelier that's not only classy and elegant, but will take your breath away - this is it! This beautiful chandelier has such a classy timeless look. Assembly is fairly easy, I wound up hiring an electrician to make sure it was done right. You will have to install the crystals by hand which takes time and is a bit tedious, but worth it. Once you put in the lightbulbs, you'll be surprised with how bright it is. The light bounces off the crystals brightening up the room even more. The overall quality is good, strong, and durable. Got this for the foyer of a 1920s home and love the aesthetic of it-- truly a showstopper in person! It's very heavy and well made, but an absolute pain to assemble-- you have to individually attach each and every crystal piece, it takes hours! That being said, it's a labor of love. This chandelier is absolutely stunning—every bit as dramatic and elegant as I hoped it would be. I installed it over our dining table, and it instantly elevated the entire room. The combination of the brass frame and the crystal drops gives it a timeless, upscale feel without looking too over-the-top. It’s bold, refined, and perfectly balanced in design. Yes, assembly does take time—each crystal has to be individually attached, and it's not a 30-minute project. But once it's up, the effort is completely worth it. The sparkle from the 15 lights reflecting off the crystals fills the room with warmth and character, especially at night. It gives off plenty of light for larger spaces, and the size is just right to make a statement without overwhelming the room. It is heavy, so be prepared to either recruit help or hire a professional for installation, especially if you're mounting it on a high ceiling. The included gloves and spare crystals were a thoughtful touch, and the adjustable chain made it easier to get the perfect height. Overall, this chandelier is a true centerpiece.
