When I first received this guitar, I eagerly took it out of the box to play and couldn’t get it to hold its tuning; however, I realized that it a) was probably newly made, and b) had been in a warm truck, so I put it aside to let if acclimate for a while. The next time I picked it up, I had a better experience. The sound isn’t bad for a beginner instrument. The kit that is included (picks, tuner, strap, capo, extra strings, cleaning cloth, truss rod Allen wrench, and an optional pick guard) has just about everything a beginner could use except for a foot stand and an instructor. The black guitar with ivory trim is nice looking in person: it has faux mother-of-pearl fret markers and black side markers as well. I think I would opt not to use the red-and-black pick guard, but that is just my personal preference. The gig bag is even a little better than I expected. It has 1/4" foam padding all over, extra padding on the handle, and minimally padded backpack straps, and a pouch for picks, music, and strings. It’s not as protective as a hard case but it’s not just a thin plastic bag either. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised and relieved that everything is as good or better than expected.

My 11 year old niece started expressing interest in playing guitar. She is a tiny girl right now and I was afraid this guitar would be way too big on her but she was thrilled with it and she managed the instrument quite well! The guitar itself is well made and looks great. The sound quality was actually great and overall, the guitar is really decent! This kit includes everything you'll need to get started, including the strings, picks, strap, capo, gig bag and tuner. The playability is excellent and the guitar is comfortable to hold. Overall, this set is a great value for beginners or novice players looking to increase their skill without investing a fortune into a high end instrument just yet.

I'm admittedly no expert at all, but to me, this seems like a nice quality guitar. It definitely seems more well made than I expected for a beginner kit. It has everything someone new could want, I think. It looks great, too. I have no complaints at all. Think this is a great kit for someone wanting to learn how to play a guitar.

This beginner guitar set is a great present for someone who is just starting out learning to play the guitar. This set may not be the highest quality you can buy, but for the price it is a fantastic deal. The set has everything you need to get started including extra strings and a case. The guitar sounds very nice and has a robust and hearty sound. For an acoustic guitar it has a very nice tone. Everything works like it should on it and I also appreciate the black design. Overall, I recommend this product. Five out of five stars.

My guitar playing skills are quite intermediate, but I was happy to be able to grab the PTESAN 41" Acoustic Guitar to add to my collection. This kit includes the guitar, a carrying case, guitar strap, a teeny tuner (requires a 2032 cell battery, not included), polishing cloth, extra strings, capo and picks. I'm pleasantly surprised with how light the guitar is. I'm not a large person and my other guitar is slightly bulky, a bit wieldy and kind of clunky to this. Honestly, it's surprisingly light and the details all around are beautiful. Albeit the glossy black is slick, but it definitely is a fingerprint magnet.The carrying case is so much nicer than I expected too, as it's cushioned all around, has silicone feet to be able to set it down, and has a front pocket that can easily fit some sheet music, a book and other accessories. This is everything you need to start off with if you're thinking about learning how to play, and it would equally make a great gift too!
