These are large and sturdy plastic spacers. Wish I'd had them when I was putting in my laminate floor. Going to be using these on a kitchen remodel and I think it will make it easier. I like that there are two sizes (1/2" and 1/4") to accommodate the different sizes of baseboard and the triangular design which keeps them in place. There are 40 included which should be enough to finish a good sized room. I do have a problem with the photos on the order site that show bracing them against existing baseboard. You do not put the baseboard on until after laying the floor. The purpose of the spacers is to leave enough room to create a "floating floor". The photos of the product in use are misleading but I think that most people laying floor will know this or at least notice a gap between their floor and baseboard and realize they need to remove the baseboard before laying the floor.

Where were these back when I installed flooring full time? These mostly solve the problem of spacers sliding under the baseboard when it is set for carpet but you're installing a floating floor. I say mostly in that they do tend to want to fall over until you get enough rows in place to hold everything snug - they seel to work better with thicker floors like wood & laminate than they do with thinner LVT. And they don't offer any "adjustment" of the gap when the wall isn't perfectly straight (and NO wall is), but this isn't a big deal when you scribe the first row to the wall as you should. I also got a couple of different sizes of the spacers to accommodate slight variations. All in all I highly recommend.

I used these to install vinyl plank in a *massive* room in my house. They hold a ton better than those small spacers that constantly fall. These wedge directly up against the wall and any "push" on them just serves to wedge them in snugly. Though I only needed a 1/4 inch gap, having the option for two sizes is just added bang for your buck. Floor went in smooth and straight even with the early banging / tapping to get those crucial first rows in nice and even. I've seen some installers recommend screwing a few pieces of plank into the subfloor and working off those but honestly these worked fantastic with a lot less work and more room to adjust in the early going.

I like the way these sit in place. The fit and finish is good, well made. I also like the "reasonably" price, compared to some other options, as I need a fair quantity of them. Having many to work with ensures the floor stays put even with it being in use during installation.

These work really well.Normally I have to put a screws in the drawer in order to give me a nice straight line. This works perfectly off of the walls, providing your wallet's straight. But they're easy to use, and they hold the floor where it needs to be on the first set of boards. And it really helps out and saves a lot of time. They definitely work good and they're the perfect size. They're not too small to where they slide under or move while you're trying to work with the next row or 2 of flooring, definitely. A durable n gives the floor a great look, nice and straight and easy to get the job done this is definitely a good deal, and these are very strong and durable. They should last pretty much forever, so you really only need to get one set and you are good for life unless you lose them or let somebody borrow them. They're really good. They work. They're well made and definitely a time saver.Love these things.

As a man who renovates houses for a living including often installing LVP flooring, these are a must have. I absolutely love the height of these to ensure hitting the drywall in spots that the drywall is a bit high and the low profile ones are sometimes difficult to remove after installation. These are durable and look great. They perform exactly as they should. Easy in, easy out.

This is a must-have item for DIY floor projects. I wish I had had these for my last one, and I am glad I got them for this one. A few notes: 1. These are very solid with no flex. They should work well. 2. The photos on the product page show these in front of the base molding. I don't see how that is the right way to use these. I believe we need to remove the base molding, use these against the wall to set the flooring off from that, and then reapply the base molding so that the molding then covers the expansion gap. If you do it like the pictures, you will be very unhappy with the result. That said, these are super easy to use, and for the price and time savings associated with ensuring you have the right gaps at the edges, this is a huge value in my view.
