Updated review....I'm changing my original review as the customer service from the seller was excellent. We all know any product can be defective. They immediately reached out. Asked me some overall questions to confirm it wasn't an electrical issue on my end. After all that they promptly sent me a replacement that I received today and it is working just fine. I was preparing to hang the lights throughout my shop but hadn't quite been able to get them all hung and hooked up. We were working late trying to get some things finished on the new 40 x 80 bldg and it started to get dark on us. I had electricity but no wiring or lighting yet. I pulled out one of these UFO lights and plugged it in to give us some light......give us some light it did! One light propped up on the ground lit up an entire 24 x 40 section of the shop that we were assembling a lift in. This was the only lighting we had and it gave us plenty of light to finish our project. I am amazed at how much light we got out of only 1 light that wasn't even properly installed. I am on a mission to install all the lights now and I can only imagine how it will light my shop us based on what I saw from only one light. I purchased 12 and would definitely recommend these lights to anyone. ... show more

These 400 WATT lights would receive a top 5 star rating, however, the packaging is well below par. I have ordered 16 of these in 4 boxes. The light are blindingly bright and seem to be good quality. They have to be built well to withstand the beating as they are poorly packed in the shipping boxes. There is only a thin plastic bag covering the light inside the thin layered cardboard box. There is another box frame around the top or center of the light, but these lights are very heavy so that if they are shipped on their side the lights rub through the outer box and most likely will arrive damaged. 2 of the 4 boxes arrived sliced by the lights , one of them was open all the way down the corner. I couldn't figure out how they did not fall out. Check the lights for damage, then email Bulbeats for a discount, but don't expect very much. Half of mine were damaged, but not too seriously. Shipping would get a ZERO, but the lights are solid 5 so far. we will see how they last and dim. The 0 - 10 volt Dimmer switches for these are expensive. I was going put 9 lights in an area 50' x 45' x 20' tall. they are so bright that 2 lights do the job, so I am using the extra lights elsewhere. ... show more
